Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News: Oh dearie me, look what we start the game-week with? ‘A Clash of the Cash’ no less. Two continental firebrand managers at the top of their game and two title contenders going head-to-head. Doesn’t get much juicier than this really. Cue the boring 0-0. Unless Stones plays… in which case captain Costa. 3pm then brings us five games, most notably Pardew’s last, if he makes it there at all, and Spurs entertaining Swansea in a much anticipated goal fest. Cue the 0-0. Yet another London derby sees Saturday out as Arsenal visit West Ham in what should be an entertaining encounter. Sunday sees a Coutinho-less Liverpool try to adjust to life without him as they visit a Bournemouth side who looked impressive last weekend despite losing to Arsenal and the last time they faced a defence as shaky as Klopp’s they hammered Hull 6-1, could be goals in this one. Later on Sunday Rooney checks out his inevitable retirement home, that’s if Jose lets him off the bench. That’s if he’s even on it himself. Or can manage to stay there even if he is. All bets are off. Our game-week closes on Monday with ‘Boro hosting Hull. How or why this one is being televised we don’t quite know, quotas have a lot to answer for, if you somehow own a player from either then you’ll probably still be mildly interested. Do yourself a big favour though and slap yourself in the face and ask why you do. Enjoy GW14 with us on Live Match Chat. Anyone know what the first choice United defence would be if they were all fit? I need to shift Cameron with an injury and bad fixtures coming up.Exclude Rojo as the guy is loco, and will spend more time banned than on the pitch.
Jones has played the last 3 and is looking good so far. He seems a “proper” defender and at 4.7 he fits my price range and Utd have some good fixtures coming after Spurs.
Probably stay with Williams (Eve) for their game at Watford but after maybe switch to a West Ham defender for their next 3 games. Crazy or what?

I was clearly drunk last night. Just realised that doing Aguero to Carroll wasn’t just a bad dream! Oh well, at least it freed up funds for Wally to Sanchez, and has left me 3.4 to improve Allen.

lol aguero > carrol thats a depressing transfer :/ Origi or Kelechi all the way

      • banjomaker says:

You sure of their gametime? I also don’t like the idea if transferring someone in who def won’t be playing when others are fit / available.

        • lukealike says:

both are just eager to score and prove themselves. I think Kelechi is better but I think Pep more likely to play weird formation or not utilise him as much as Klopp will Origi. Origi scored three in his last 3 in all comps I think. With Coutinho gone now, I think Origi will be set to start. I can keep Austin or get one of them, I think one of them is going to be bringing in more in the short periods they features. Its a punt but everytime I bought in Kelechi or Origi (three times now) they got me good points especially Kelechi. And no-one else had him

        • banjomaker says:

I rate them both, I’m just not convinced either will get a solid run in the team. If they do they’ll get you points.

Ibra’s probably looked the worst player on the pitch so far and still bags a goal, nice.

Lol at Zlatan goal. United was pretty terrible so far. I am leaning towards Kane now.

Typical Zlatan goal! Creates one out of no where! Unbelievable how the ball just refused to go in the net.. Story of United’s season!! ?
