Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…

Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

I wouldn’t really ever recommend a hit for a keeper but if you’re committed to it then it’s either got be to be Cech or Courtois looking at the fixtures of everyone.

Just an aside, have you had trouble logging in please Isd? You’ve popped up on a lot of reports this week! If so what’s happened please?

      • lsd1983 says:

        Thanks inittowinit!

Yes i have had trouble logging in. Apologies for generating the reports. I had troubles with my password…my bad!

        How about lloris?

        • inittowinit says:

Over the course of the next 6 games he’d be my third choice behind the other two.

That’s fine, just checking it’s nothing to do with the new set up.

Should end up on 61 happy with that but not happy with Firmino & Deeney , Lallana interests me smile

Any Spurs fan here? What’s the situation with Son? He isn’t too sharp recently is he?

Should I drop Son to Lallana despite Spurs vs Burnley? Appreciate the response lads

I have Cedric who has been ill for the past 2 CS as well ffs. Is Cedric or Son more urgent for you guys?

      • inittowinit says:

Wait on Cedric news, not entirely sure what the situation is there.

I’d keep Son for this one regardless. As long as it looks like he’ll play anyway. They can’t and don’t produce every single week!

        • DMC says:

The question Init is will you keep your faith on Kane for captain?

        • inittowinit says:

Yes without a doubt. Burnley away are nearly as bad as Hull are. He didn’t score this week unfortunately but that has little bearing on next week.

        • DMC says:

I see your point. I had Payet tonight at home against burnley but it seems burnley frustrated them enough. They will now have hull at home and given the 3-0 at Tottenham I’m having doubts over keep faith in Kane and spurs or go ‘safe’ with the one team that has hull at home. So it’s either Payet or Kane.

        • inittowinit says:

I see your point too. Chase Hull, basically! smile It’s probably a good strategy but then again it’s West Ham after all, and not Spurs.

        • inittowinit says:

Anyway, must go to sleep now before Cookie wakes up with his babies and sees my analysis of his last 2 seasons smile :poof:

    RedVT says:

Anyone know if Ake is nailed? He’s only started the last 5 matches. Anyone returning from injury or something likely to take his starting place?

    Raziel says:

Ending the gameweek with 54 points, pretty decent if you consider I capped Kane… if only I kept it on Sanchez. laugh

    How have you guys done?
