Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…

Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

    What should be my moves/move?

    • Try and find a way to upgrade Marney. If Anichebe is out for a while or gets rotated you will need some back up there and Marney just won’t cut it I don’t think.

      • Yes it does
        I will be left with 0.6mn in the bank too

        Should I wait for Pressers too?

        Because if Origi is ruled out I might find it another difficult task to think of someone else

    • Your main problem is Gundogan to be honest, the rest of the team is fine but you may want to bring in some Arsenal cover with their upcoming fixtures.

  3. Good morning folks. I did rage transfer after the last nights match and went to 3-5-2 formation. I have 0.2 ITB & 0 FT left. Do u guys think the team is good enough to be qualified into the fpl knockout cup ??

    Any suggestion regarding the team would be very much appreciated

    • Looks a good team hochoki.

      I think the cup usually begins in GW18 (could be wrong).

      • The top 2,097,152 scorers in Gameweek 17 will enter the first round. If there are more than 2,097,152 qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies.

    • After giving the chips it has been very difficult to move into the next round of the cup. Almost every week someone would definitely use one of the chips that is bench boost or triple captain which we are most likely to save for the dgw
