Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…
Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

How much cash and how many transfers Snookie ? Failminho and Capoue look like your biggest problems.

Gundogan is expected to be out for the next 9 months so he’s gone for the season.
I seem to suddenly have problems with my team. After a shocker of a week not sure what to do. Iheanacho punt backfired so do I swap for Origi ?
Other option is changing formation for a hit. Lallana/Erickson in for Fletcher and Anichebe or Diomande in for Iheanacho ?

Sometimes you’ve just got to suck them bad GW’s up, no-one’s going to be great every week, the 3-5-2 is a very tempting move here with Itchy getting scratched last GW, bringing in Anichebe + Eric for Firm and Icheancho would probably be my moves to do it which could leave some funds left over for next GW to upgrade Fletcher, be warned though that 5th mid spot is just as tough to fill as that third striker spot is at the moment though.
Can you afford Firminho to Erikson Itchy to Benteke ? Or you could just do Firminho to Lallana,Itchy to Benteke.Couple of dodgy fixtures for palace then they have a really nice run.

Hey Smash, I just did something similar (see below) and brought in Lallana for Fletcher. I’ve got Anichebe as 1st sub, who I thought looked pretty good in the last match. Can definitely see him grabbing more points than Fletcher if he subs on, which is bound to happen with injuries and rotation over the next few weeks. Not a formation I usually play, hopefully it does OK!

My team needs help. Any advice is welcomed. 1 FT and I am broke
I would be looking at selling Schmeichel and Fer to be honest so either one of those moves or both for a hit (which is the last option)
I am not for or against transferring out Schmeichel but he will be available this weekend but yeah Fer and Kelechi are issues for me as well as Firmino
He may be available but Leicester aren’t able to keep a CS and are no where near the team they were last year. Firmino has been pushed out wide and it doesn’t suit him at all but at least he’s playing in an attacking team so chances are high. Ihenacho I’d probably give one more week as he was injured this past one so it leaves Fer to be sold. Maybe do Fer to an enabler to raise money to improve Ihenacho next week?

This is what I have atm. Ihenacho pissd me off and eriksen is killing me in my ML so was thinking of the following:-
1) A simple ihenacho to origi
Or
2) ihenacho to diomande ( if that’s how you spell it) then fletcher to eriksen thus playing a 3-5-2 with a cheap bench fodder forward if need be.

I know it’s annoying!! I was only saying this morning why can’t we just play midfielders as strikers like teams do nowadays
