Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…
Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

It’s still a very attacking defence! Right now I have it on Haz with Kane as Vice but if anything solid comes out about Haz not playing I’ll swap it and stick the vice on Pedro with Kane as cap. What about you??

There seems to be a distinct lack of strikers around the 7 million mark. Origi has looked decent but will be keep his place? Coutinho is expected back soon. Any news on Anichebe? He missed game due to injury

I had him for 5 weeks or something so I ditched him, not sure why him and Ighalo cant score to save their lifes but I wasnt going to hang around to find out.
Rondon is probably a good shout if their fixtures are good which IDK
