As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…

Good chance Jones plays tomorrow but there is rotation risk. That said Lovren is not doing much as Liverpool cannot keep a CS. He will also fall in price soon.

Haha, before reading your last message I was starting to think sod it, it’s worth a punt. Worst case I’ve got 4 other playing defenders, and if he can keep the gametime going he’s got a lovely run of fixtures.
Good to see a CS after long.But, can’t understand the BPS system still..I mean I saw a few attempt to assists by Smith, but he’s not getting any bonus.. content with 6 points though.
I checked 10 mins ago and Smith had 32bps in line for 1 point. Now he’s on 28. I don’t understand it either

Very tempted to do cedric and kingsley out for jones and ake before they go up tonight. What do we think guys. Id have a full playing bench then. My other defenders are mc cauley, alonso and amat.

Not sure. Jones looks great for 18 & 19, assuming he starts both. Will he though, I don’t know? Bournemouth are only really value at home and they only have one at home in the next four and that’s Arsenal. Away they aren’t worth it – conceded 16 and only had one CS and that was at Stoke back when they were really struggling.

I’m now seriously considering a Bournemouth defender as a Lovren replacement. Is Smith playing higher up the pitch? I’m aware they’re useless away, but they’d be used in rotation.
Either that or Jones for me (I think I like the Jones punt).
I saw comments that he was on the wing at one point but I was watching Everton so couldn’t say for sure.

Isn’t Bailly leaving right after the New Year anyway? So Jonesy might come back into play even if he is dropped for a game or two.
That’s true Mito and I hadn’t actually taken that in account but now that I do I wouldn’t change what I said for UTD only have two EPL games in January Liverpool at home and stoke away. Not the best to feature someone like jonesy, one would think.

You are right. I would only be buying Jones because he’s a cheapo United defender. Rotation headache and United not even being that good I don’t take into account.

I bought Jones, but don’t mind me. I have Lovren, Stones and Fuchs and sold Coleman right before the deadline.

I was gonna do the transfer but I will just keep my cheap defense and hold on to the FT for as long as possible. Actually quite stupid of me to do it tonight with the chance of Costa walking into a freakish yellow tomorrow and being suspended the next game.
I am convinced that Diego will get a yellow in the first minute of GW20 and not before that.
