Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 16 FPL News: And the silly season begins… Our first game-week on top of another, quickly followed by another. Expect rotation, expect the unexpected. As much as traditional team selections may go out of the window, expected results often do too. Welcome to the beginning of the reason they give us an opportunity to select 15 playing players. We hope you took that particular gift and didn’t squander it as it’s one you may well need, starting this evening, in all probability. Talking of which we begin with two games on Tuesday as Bournemouth face a suddenly rejuvenated Leicester, don’t get too excited though, they won’t get to play against Stones and co every week. Arsenal then face a beleaguered and strangely uninterested Everton at Goodison. Wednesday then sees a bumper night with 8 fixtures in total with the likes of Spurs, Man City and Chelsea all having games from which they should, in theory, have us all celebrating good fantasy points…

Whether they do or not please feel free to join us on the journey and post your thoughts, feelings, frustrations and hopefully celebrations. And no doubt the odd rate my rate as GW17 follows in quick succession!

Notice FPL price changes retweeted someone saying that Hazard didn’t travel to Sunderland. Don’t know how valid this is though. Trying to check to see if anyone else is saying this.

    Ozil at his best.

Your 3 worst performing players this gameweek according to FFF: Sanchez and Smith. I am loving it. HEHE. One got me 7 points the other 6. laugh

I hope tomorrow they still belong with the worst. 😉

Thoughts on this ‘get Kun back’ plan?

I’m not willing to lose Costa or Sanchez. I’d like to keep Kane, and I’ve a feeling Mkhi could be gold.

      Here’s the current lot.

Or this? With a little leftover to change Carroll if he doesn’t become a nailed on starter.

Honestly I like your current team a lot more than Get Kun Back plan team mate

Lallana and Sanchez are great picks. But when you say Miki “could be” gold.
You wanna have an already gold player when u are using a wildcard. Specially 4th 5th mids being Allen and Fletcher

Plus give Kun some time to prove he is back and running

      • banjomaker says:

Cheers nish. I won’t be using a wildcard. The plan is to make these changes week by week (probably starting with Lovren to Ake) and asses things as I go, taking minimal hits along the way! I’ve a feeling most people won’t have a Kun plan, so he could be quite the differentiator!

      • banjomaker says:

ps what about ‘get Kun back part II’?

        • SAFs_hairdryer says:

Part 2 is certainly better than Part 1 but I’m not convinced Kun is all that essential given the extra points you’ll get elsewhere with the spare cash

        • nishant says:

Yes. Part 2 is a more balanced side

          Lovren to Ake makes sense

Ake is a BP magnet too

        • banjomaker says:

Thanks guys. I guess I’ll just make the Ake move for now, and think it over.
