Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 17 FPL News: After the excitement (maybe not!) of the midweek fixtures we are back with a long weekend of games beginning on Saturday lunchtime with Chelsea chasing records at Pardew’s Palace. We move swiftly on to four relatively dull looking games at 3pm, if we are being totally honest about it! It reads more like a relegation audition or next seasons typical Championship fixture list than any sort of Premier League bonanza. Ahem, sorry, we’re supposed to build you up into a frenzy of excitement to encourage the conversation about what is to come and what is happening aren’t we?! We’ll actually forgive you if you leave at 2pm and return at 5pm though, just this once! The evening game could actually be an interesting one as Man United visit West Brom, both of whom enjoyed midweek wins. Sunday begins with a south coast derby followed by arguably the clash of the weekend as Pep meets Wenger at the Etihad. At the same time as that one Spurs will seek to gain some ground on the leaders as they host Burnley. Our game-week closes out on Monday with another derby game, this time on Merseyside. Would you really start him against Chelsea anyway though? If money’s tight and you have no other fires to put out, it might not be the worst idea to get him before his price goes up. Assuming you have other playing defenders for next week of course!

I see you point but if it’s a downgrade of Stones then there is wriggle room there. I think I would prefer to save rather than risk going early on a non-urgent player.
If anyone is considering bringing in Ake at some point, he doesnt get very far forward and is only really in the opposing teams box for set pieces. Otherwise he is the last man before the keeper. Francis and Smith will score more in the long run

The top 2,097,152 scorers in Gameweek 17 will enter the first round. If there are more than 2,097,152 qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies.
As it stands I am not qualifying
Even though I have overall ranking below 100 K.. But only 3 players played and Adam Smith currently playing.. All depends on how spurs play today.. Kane hattrick in coming?

yea well Pep is high maintenance, if people dont perform how he wants he punishes them by taking away thier game time. At Barcelona he didnt even like Zlatan ffs, what hope has poor Kelechi got? He will bring him on when City are losing 2-0
