Live Match Chat Gameweek 17 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 17 FPL News: After the excitement (maybe not!) of the midweek fixtures we are back with a long weekend of games beginning on Saturday lunchtime with Chelsea chasing records at Pardew’s Palace. We move swiftly on to four relatively dull looking games at 3pm, if we are being totally honest about it! It reads more like a relegation audition or next seasons typical Championship fixture list than any sort of Premier League bonanza. Ahem, sorry, we’re supposed to build you up into a frenzy of excitement to encourage the conversation about what is to come and what is happening aren’t we?! We’ll actually forgive you if you leave at 2pm and return at 5pm though, just this once! The evening game could actually be an interesting one as Man United visit West Brom, both of whom enjoyed midweek wins. Sunday begins with a south coast derby followed by arguably the clash of the weekend as Pep meets Wenger at the Etihad. At the same time as that one Spurs will seek to gain some ground on the leaders as they host Burnley. Our game-week closes out on Monday with another derby game, this time on Merseyside. Please join us to talk about the happenings on the pitch and share your teams joys or woes as the games go on. Rate my team posts are always welcome for the following week and will always be answered. Rant, rave or just wave, do whatever you want on here, it’s your platform as ever…

Damn Leicester. What happened my Pieters cs.
Stoke fucked it up and Pieters got a yellow. IN the end it would have been more useful to play 1 point Amat whom conceded 3 early. Hehe.
The radio said wrong man got the yc
Holebas, Pierre’s,Amat – was hoping for 3 cs there. Pickford is bugging me a bit. Seem to be picking the wrong keeper each week.
Glad I don’t have this dilemma. 😉 This is why I always stick with 1. Usually happy with his amount of saves versus the big teams and his cs potential versus the smaller ones. Again today, 8 points.
For Stoke, what comes around goes around. In midweek they held on with only 10 men and today they gave in against 10 men.
Such is life!
God, I really fucked up the dishwasher. Wanted to make it beter but I think I did the opposite. The water won’t run away.
WEST BROM: Foster, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Nyom, Yacob, Fletcher, Brunt, Chadli, Phillips, Rondon. Subs: Myhill, Robson-Kanu, Morrison, Gardner, McClean, Galloway, Leko.
MANCHESTER UNITED: De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Carrick, Herrera, Lingard, Pogba, Rooney, Ibrahimovic. Subs: Romero, Blind, Smalling, Fellaini, Mata, Martial, Rashford.
Final teamsheets of the day are in, Mon Ibra baby.
Had Allen as my 1st sub but it didn’t feel right so played AOA to get him on, 9 points so I think that can be considered a positive use, don’t think it’s a very useful chip but I’d have had Holebas in his place so 7 points better off! Def saving my other chips for the DGWs but feel the AOA should just be played whenever it feels right!
On 34 with 5 to play including captain Kane so not to bad so far.
Rosco,
Totally agree about the AoA chip. Good choice for you this week – well done!
I swear I knew Stoke would concede when Leicester went to 10 men. They just need to stop trying to score goals and pretend they’re playing with 10 men all the time like at Soton last week. Not only double clean sheet gone but bonus points for Grant and then they gave up a second. 12 points lost and now red arrows… :cuss:
How’s everyone else’s GW???
Bad luck there Pancho. Stoke did have a good chance to close that out.
So many beards these days – Rooney has more hair on his Chin than his head
I think it’s because they are awesome Leprechaun!
