    Evening folks,

Hope you all had a good game week. Somehow managed to get 63 points – really chuffed with that!

Looks like Jagielka is crocked – what do you think to taking him out (£5.8m selling price) and putting in Distin instead? I’m avoiding getting any Arsenal or Newcastle defenders as I’ve got Szczesny and Krul. Thinking Everton have still got some good matches coming up.

    Thoughts would be most welcome!

      The B says:

Stoke and Hull are next opponents, so Distin is a smart choice.

      • theswirly says:

Cheers, B! Would love to get Coleman but he’s just too expensive. Only got £5.8m to pay!

        • The B says:

Yeah i can understand. Paying 6M+ for a defencer is pure violence and injustice. Glad i remained on the ColeWagon and never left. smile

But dont worry, Everton is soon going to have its share of harsh fixtures, where Coleman will dry up.

If I get rid of Ravel I’ll bring in either Bannan (Nor H, 1 goal 1 assist), Livermore (Liv A, 2 goals 2 assists) or Huddlestone (Liv A, 1 goal 4 assists). Which of these should I bring in if Ravel is still injured?

    • 392.1
      The B says:

Dont like any of those but I like the way Huddlestone plays, although his recent attacking returns in no way mean that he will give that sort of returns on a consistent basis.

      Raziel says:

Hmm, I think he’ll play next game. I’m keeping him. Just replaced Ramsey, still have Silva (red) and Ravel. Taking a risk. ALos have Clyne and Vlaar in defense. Rooney as striker. I’m kind of cursed. laugh

      • The B says:

Raz i think it is now official that Vlaar is coming back against Sunderland. So this love relationship between you and Vlaar is about to start again. laugh

        • Raziel says:

Good. Only kept him because I didn’t want to take a hit for a low budget defender. Same for Clyne. They were injured/banned during really hard fixtures, hopefully they have something good coming up, lol. Want to drop Guzan though, doubling up on Villa isn’t smart. Though, the balance of the defense depends on Vlaar and he’s been gone for the majority of their last games.

The smart money (most FPL trades) at the moment seems to be on Livermore.

If it’s just for 1 game week bring in bannan. Home to Norwich and he’s looked lively recently.

If it’s till the wildcard. The next 5 fixtures for palace are Norwich. spurs, stoke, hull, arsenal

For Hull Liverpool, Chelsea, Norwich, crystal palace, spurs. So for me bannan has the best fixtures.

So Bannan is the cheapest with better opposition.

      • Tekno-kun* says:

The one I’ll bring in will play this gameweek and then be put firmly on the bench afterwards. Bannan is the most tempting when you look at his fixture, but he also has the least returns and gets subbed practically every match, making him a poor 5th mid imo. Livermore and Huddlestone however, plays Liverpool away, so it’s not likely to get many returns there…

Who’s the best captain choice for next GW? I currently have Suarez (Hul H) as captain and Walcott (Car H) as vice. Lukaku (Stk A), Yaya Toure (Swa A) and Rooney (Tot H) could also be good options?

    • 394.1
      jamesimmo says:

Here’s how I would rank them:

      1) Walcott
      2) Suarez
      3) Lukaku
      4) Yaya
      5) Rooney

Walcott will be my (C) – form, fixture and no Ramsey / Özil

      • Tekno-kun* says:

The absence of Ozil is surely to consider a negative james, I mean Walcott would get better service and thus more opportunities if Ozil played right? This is one of the reasons why I have Suarez as captain.

        • jamesimmo says:

I see what you’re saying, but Walcott is more than capable, especially in the presence of Rosicky / Cazorla who aren’t to shabby themselves

    • 394.2
      The B says:

      Common logic says Suarez.

But a good differential could be Lukaku, as he faces Stoke who is conceding goals like its the hobby and motto of the team.

      inittowinit says:

Definitely Suarez or Walcott in my opinion Tekno. Both at home, the oppo favours Arsenal slightly but is anyone brave enough not to cappo Suarez at home?

    • 394.4
      Tekno-kun* says:

I think that after narrowly losing to both City and Chelsea, Liverpool will feel like they have something to prove. I won’t be surprised if they bag 3-4 goals, and if they Suarez will surely be involved.

      • inittowinit says:

The more I think about it the more I think this could be a tough one for Liverpool. I know it’s at home and I know it’s Suarez but Hull did for them the other week and will not lie down like some have recently at Anfield. Cardiff may do just that though… I’m 60/40 on Walcott at the moment.

        • jamesimmo says:

I’m 70/30 on him.. you’re starring to have the same worries as me I see. Then again, the more I think about it, Liverpool and Suarez could smash Hull in vengeance whilst Walcott grabs the assist in a 1-0 win again. Think I’m kidding myself, to be honest, I do fancy Wally to do well.

      • NIN says:

It’s tough to choose between the two,i couldn’t fault anyone for going with either of them,Tekno makes a good point on Ozil,he’s by far their best player and is a huge loss,it could swing in favor of Suarez because of this.
