We don’t recommend you tell the loved one this, or indeed the wife, but you can kick back and relax now knowing that there are potentially FPL points up for grabs every single day of the holiday. It’s so intense that GW19 ends on Sunday at about 6pm and GW20 begins at 11.30pm on Monday! Given the obvious lack of time between those we won’t have any help articles up between those two but everybody will be around as usual to help with team questions and queries so feel free to pepper the chat below with those. As for the gameweek itself we begin with a single game this evening as Everton travel to Hull at 8pm. Saturday then sees six 3pm kick offs plus a potential evening cracker as Klopp hosts Pep. Sunday concludes the week with two games and two London derbies just for some added spice. Good luck on the tube if you are down there for New Year!

Hey guys, how’s it going? Van Dijk, Amat, and Anichebe getting suspended/injured has left me in a bind for this gw. Any ideas what to do with this lot? I can field 11 players but I have no bench. Willing to take a hit if necessary. 1 FT and .4 ITB

I’m which case I don’t think a hit is necessary. Siggy probably needs sorting out, but maybe give him one more week due to the fixture.

Hey Raz. Yeah, I have no desire for Aguero right now. I was looking to shore up the defense a bit. The plan before the injuries and suspensions was to sell Siggy for Phillips/Stanislas/etc and upgrade Holebas or Amat to a Chelsea or Arsenal defender. Now I’m in a pickle though with no bench. Could just do Van Dijk to someone for free and at least have a defender on the bench, but I just brought Van Dijk in and would keep him if possible.
PS- willing to sell Siggy to help fund whatever if need be!
Are there any nailed on cheapo forwards to ride the bench in a 3-5-2? I could do Anichebe and Van Dijk to a 4.5 forward and Kosclieny. It would cost -4 but it would give me 2 more players. Or keep van Dijk and do the same with Amat (4.6 replacement) or Holebas (5.2 replacement).
Red, have a look at Barnes, he’s 4.4m and got me 11 points yesterday.
Even took a penalty! Though that may have been due to Gray’s preceding hat-trick.
Looking potentially at using the wildcard straight away, or do you think i can get away with these changes for a -4 hit? Then shift out origi next week?

Hey guys. Do we think Jones will start midweek for Utd? If he doesn’t I could be screwed with amat ake nyom and chambers. Nyom could be another doubt…anyone know anything about why he came off.
Would you make any changes here? Slowly dropping down mini league and whatever I do seems to back fire!
Should I stick or twist? Could do Hazard and Defoe out for Aguero and Capoue but not sure if it’s worth it?
