Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 21 FPL News: After how many games in how many days, and just when we are at our most busiest on a personal basis, we then get two weeks off, just as we are all suddenly at our least busiest on a personal basis! FPL doesn’t understand or forgive family matters, they don’t pay the bills, TV rights do. Anyway we hope you spent the time well and recharged those batteries as we are full steam ahead again and enter the second half of the season which is always more exciting for us than the first and that’s mainly due to the inevitable chaos of the double game-weeks which loom large on the horizon and will start to shape our seasons soon enough. For the time being it’s a normal week ahead and we begin with Dele Alli, sorry, Spurs facing West Brom followed by no less than six 3pm Saturday games. Last seasons champions then host this seasons champions elect in the evening game. Sunday sees a Merseyside vs Manchester bonanza as City visit Everton at lunch before United host Liverpool in the 4pm game.

  1. By all accounts John Terry and Fabregas have been on the phone to Costa telling him to apologise to his team mates and forget about China till the Summer and re assess.I reckon he’ll be back in the team next week as Chelsea close ranks.

  2. I knew people were overreacting with the costa situation.

    • Dude, we still don’t know a thing. All we know now is that the Chelsea players are trying to calm the situation down. They don’t want him to leave because he will be key in the big matches. However, if Costa thinks about things more clearly I don’t think he will want to leave either. He can win the title with this team and he was set on the gold boot and maybe more. Chelsea have a real good team, good org. with great players and a great manager. The money in China can be made later. I mean, an idiot like Oscar that leaves, I can sort of get since he wasn’t always playing. Costa, however, he’s the main man. Would be crazy. ANyway, China is crazy and the money that is going around there. And we all know the competition will never be the best.

      • Eh all I know is people we resting like it was definite he was moving when these so called “sources” just did a 180. This stuff happens every year I’m suprised no one has caught on yet.

        • Not harsh at all. Your posts stand out as being completely out of synch with the rest of the site and the nature of it. Everybody has spotted it and most want you banned as a result. Myself included. Less hassle that way. I was on the verge of doing so last week but was asked not to. I’m still struggling to see why I shouldn’t. Give me a reason not to.

          Not too sure on what grounds I constitute a ban I mean you obviously can it’s your site but seems arbitrary to me.

          I won’t beg or even justify myself I’ve never had the intention of being off topic or anything and I’m here for the same reason as anyone else and I think other people know this. Probably why they told you to ease off.

          Waxys I have had 17 direct requests to cull you. I put it to the management team and had all 4 say to give you another chance. Which I have. I’ve seen nothing since to change my mind really. Either get with the spirit of the site and stop being a dick or you’re gone. Linking your actual team for transparency would help.

        • Willing to cut the lad some slack Init? I do appreciate you have requests to cull him , dont know him from Adam myself but the guy has been told to toe the line – he does or he doesnt with the consequences known.

          I spent like 1 hour having a back and forth with two people. I don’t think that’s much but fair enough it is something.

          I’d just like take a moment to thank the 4 other members of management who understand the sometimes controversial nature of my posts and that they need to be toned down ( they will ” and I thank them for the feedback. And for not banning me it’s greatly appreciated.

          Other than that I have nothing more to say.

          In all honesty i was too defensive so I apologise about that. Costs is just a player I’ve had since gameweek 1 and has done wonders for me and everyone saying that he’s out of the squad permanently over some rumours didn’t set too well with me.

        • Sometimes things probably don’t come across as they’re intended in online posts, I’m sure you meant well. I was frustrated in losing Costa as I had a decent amount tied up in him, it’s made all the more frustrating hearing he might be back next week!

          It is just a game though and most of us on here like nothing better than a bit of banter and most of what is said shouldn’t be taken as anything more than just a group of mates ‘ ripping’ each other! It’s not a vindictive place and sometimes it’s best to laugh at yourself, god knows FPL can drive you up the wall sometimes and it’s good that you know there’s a place where you can bounce your frustrations of others who know exactly how you feel!

        • Owww dear. So much drama going on. Got involved in something similar disturbing earlier this evening. Have not been following the site as much the past weeks, since the games ended. Waxys is a hard one, but I reckon he probably is a good guy. Everyone can be a little off. Not everyone has to walk in sync either. World would be pretty boring if this were the case. Plus it looks he really wants to stay. I say cut the guy some slack. Plus, as time goes by he will learn a few things. He can point stuff out we don’t see and the other way around.

        • And most important thing on this site is to never make stuff personal. I joke around a lot and talk a lot of bs. But at the end of the day I really do it for the banter. I like the game but I try to not make things to personal. So I can let go easily and enjoy the site. Earlier tonight was the first time in a while I really didn’t like what was happening and the thing I probably partially caused. Learning curve, no interest in that type of business, so next time I try to resolve it even faster. For there will always be a person annoyed with the Razman. As weird as it sounds, not the entire planet can handle this hard rock of tender loving.

  3. 53 (-4) with Zlatan,Baines and Lallana to go so a pretty meh day today.
    My mate is killing me this season.Was top 5k before today.Got 94 with Sterling to go.Never gets any injuries.Thought he was just lucky with the moves he makes but now i realise he is just very unorthodox.
    Hasnt owned Aguero all season or Costa.Took Hazard out weeks ago just before Chelseas good run for Eriksen.While we all took Kane out after his Hull and Burnley blanks he kept him.only big hitters he has are Kane and Sanchez.Couple of weeks ago he spunked his bench boost,when all his bench had shit fixtures,Coleman scored and heaton saves a pen and gets maximum bp’s.I keep thinking surely his luck has to run out ??
    Today he took a hit for Crouch,i laughed,…..you know the rest….
    Oh and he likes to gloat…….and he’s a Cockney ! Quiet as a mouse when things arent going for him in your face when they are…as i finish writing this hes just texted me an update on his points….
    Can you tell this guy is really getting on my tits now…….. laugh

  4. I’m just so pissed right now.took out Alonso and he scores 21. Shit man. Someone told me that he’d lost his starting spot. Anyways I’m not going to blame anyone but this is a bummer for me.

      • Smash, it wasn’t you. I had him for past 7-8 weeks but just to fund carroll and Alonso to giroud and valencia, i had to do the changes. Caroll scored and alonso scored twice.Sad but true.

      • That could have gone either way. Both are quite heavily involved in attacks. Alonso has had an injury as well

  5. I had a debate with someone on here on Azpi and Alonso. Since I was for Alonso :finger: obviously if I was for Azpi, I would not mention this.

  6. My son said he was going to captain Alonso this week mostly because he cheers for Chelsea just to piss me off smile I told him not to and so he captained Sanchez. Jokes on him! smile
    He still scored 93 with Firmino to play…
