Live Match Chat Gameweek 21 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 21 FPL News: After how many games in how many days, and just when we are at our most busiest on a personal basis, we then get two weeks off, just as we are all suddenly at our least busiest on a personal basis! FPL doesn’t understand or forgive family matters, they don’t pay the bills, TV rights do. Anyway we hope you spent the time well and recharged those batteries as we are full steam ahead again and enter the second half of the season which is always more exciting for us than the first and that’s mainly due to the inevitable chaos of the double game-weeks which loom large on the horizon and will start to shape our seasons soon enough. For the time being it’s a normal week ahead and we begin with Dele Alli, sorry, Spurs facing West Brom followed by no less than six 3pm Saturday games. Last seasons champions then host this seasons champions elect in the evening game. Sunday sees a Merseyside vs Manchester bonanza as City visit Everton at lunch before United host Liverpool in the 4pm game.

    Hey boys ,

Seem like a decent week for most people.

Am on 83 points with Zlatan to go…
This might be a knee jerk decision but perhaps I should swap my Azi for alonso ? Been thinking of doing it but for some reason I forgot to do it while I was on wildcard…

Ahhh, this bring back the days when I almost got banned for that innocent double identity joke. smile

But I was given another chance and looked what I turned into…hmmm, yeah ban him now. 😉

I think your team looks grand and with your bank it looks even better! Every time I consider widcarding I remember how much fun I had using it pre the DGW last year! For me it was my first year in FPL so o don’t know any other but I’m adamant no matter how bad it gets I’m sitting on mine till then.

Its like looking forward to Christmas, you might end up with shite presents but the build up and anticipation is a whole lot of fun, when else would you spend so much time weighing up the merits of double palace or sticking your TC on Andy Carroll!?

Belter of a goal by Carroll today by the way!

        Cheers mate

It was a tragic end to my FPL last season

I was inside the 100k with my WC BB TC saved but had to quit FPL due to some seriously minor and funny issue

What I mean is I missed the fun of getting crazy points with 11-12 DGW ERs

But I remember the season of the S&S&S. Wow. Suarez Sturrridge and Sterling they were great together
Hell even Skrtel had become a goal machine

That famous Gerrard Slip and it was all gone

        Plus that Palace game

Random question : but is jakupovic going to start regularly? Had him for the entire half season and he didn’t get a game . Wildcard Him away and he gets a game.

With Costa most likely returning, I don’t think I’ll take a punt on Pedro.

      Neither me smile
I might just do Giroud to Costa

      Raziel says:

As for Kane. I see that a lot of yall are shipping him in. He scored a hatty, which was really nice. But in all honesty with the 12 shots on target, he should have scored at least 5 or 6. It’s a miracle he didn’t. Kind of annoying though, past few games it was Alli with the most shots on target for Spurs each game, now Alli was on 1 and Kane on 12. Every game is different. I really don’t get Kane either, versus Burnley and Mid he did shit all (I capped the fucker) and now everything goes through him. On that note, this was a class of the worst defending I have seen from WBA in ages. Against the big teams they never show up.

      • Raziel says:

Anyway, the facdt WBA let him shoot that many times on target, is crazy.Oooh wait, not all were on target. Just 12 shots, or sometheing. Anyway, I still rate Kun/Ibra/Costa higher. Kane is on the level of Giroud. Very good, but far from the best.

        • Raziel says:

But… because he’s English… we’ll act he’s the best. Just to see him fail at the next Euro’s or Worldcup. Hehe. He’s only as good as the support he gets. smile

        • West Brom was atrocious. Kane scored 3 and missed 3 that could have easily been goals. That first half could have been one of the most embarrassing things ever if Spurs and Kane in particular finish most of their great chances.

Baggies don’t defend well, they haven’t all season.

        • Raziel says:

Yeah, and their plan for the day was to keep a CS… once that plan fell through so did their entire defense. LOL! No plan B. And still Phillips showed a glimps of what he could do and he could’ve scored. So I am not touching my midfield with the delicious fixtures he has, same with Stanislas. Probably Giroud to Costa, depending on Girouds future.
