Live Match Chat Gameweek 21 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 21 FPL News: After how many games in how many days, and just when we are at our most busiest on a personal basis, we then get two weeks off, just as we are all suddenly at our least busiest on a personal basis! FPL doesn’t understand or forgive family matters, they don’t pay the bills, TV rights do. Anyway we hope you spent the time well and recharged those batteries as we are full steam ahead again and enter the second half of the season which is always more exciting for us than the first and that’s mainly due to the inevitable chaos of the double game-weeks which loom large on the horizon and will start to shape our seasons soon enough. For the time being it’s a normal week ahead and we begin with Dele Alli, sorry, Spurs facing West Brom followed by no less than six 3pm Saturday games. Last seasons champions then host this seasons champions elect in the evening game. Sunday sees a Merseyside vs Manchester bonanza as City visit Everton at lunch before United host Liverpool in the 4pm game.

Morning everyone, some amazing scores on the boards this week! Great to see !! Currently sitting on 77 with Lallana and Ibra left.

For some reason my screenshot won’t save so can’t stick up a pic but my team is linked. I have a few ideas for moves this week and don’t know what the best option is.

    1) Save my FT
    2) Do Anichebe to Crouch
    3) Haz to Pedro to raise money

Don’t mind taking the odd hit, I’m leading my ML and I’m thinking of rotating players i.e after the game against Hull sell Alonso to Spurs def for two weeks then swap back. Good idea to rotate like that or just a waste?

What exactly happened to Giroud yesterday just noticed he’s flagged?

Your team looks pretty good, last week I swapped Lallana to Pogba due to his fxtures. So I lean more towards ditching Lallana then anyone else, depending on how he performs today that is. Depedning on whats going on with Costa I think Hazard should probably be a better shout then Pedro, pretty sure Pedro was on the wing yesterday and Hazard had the False 9 spot. I watched only highlights to see how Pedro looked, yes he scored but he also whacked an easy shot right over goal. And the goal he did score was basically an open goal so he had to score it. Pedro might be a must have but im not convinced yet, if I had Hazard I would def keep him for next week and then reassess.
Having 2 FT next week is always good
Not sure about Giroud, but he didnt come off str8 away so it cant have been that serious and his injury occured in the build up to his goal so it didnt stop him scoring. If I had him though I would be a tad nervous to see if he starts next week

Cheers Luke. Yeah I was thinking Lallana out but then Liverpool are so strong going forward I feel you need someone. Didn’t see the Chelsea game at all but did see Pedros goal this morning. Might just hold off and hope for the best so.

Its a shame this site isnt a bit more popular like FFScout is, there is a ton of users on that one. I have to say though as a user of both, that the articles here are far better and and I respect your guys opinions more. So many numpties on FFScout chatting total crap half the time. And they banned me because I said someone was injured and didnt provide a source, lmfao

Ha I’ll make a note to swerve your injury information from now on lukealike. Im sure the bosses at FF247 HQ may disagree but as a user I really wouldn’t want the site over-saturated. As you said there’d just be a load of numpties talking rubbish.
I think what makes this site so successful is the community and regular faces your converse with, in my opinion anyways.

We’re not exactly struggling for views or comments over here Luke! Depends what you want really. If you’re happy with 1 line answers to a question then Scout is your place. If you want detailed answers and discussion then come here. Completely different type of chat.

      • lukealike says:

True, quality over quantity. And yea this place isnt dead by any means. I see so many people on the other site jsut asking endless questions that your articles all answer, anyway I like it here I jsut look at the other one for LOLs mainly

As I’m sure many on here do I read articles on multiple sites but this is the only place I read everything and it’s certainly the only place I post. The community on here is amazing and I feel that everyone knows everyone ( in as much as you can on a digital forum) it’s certainly why it’s became such a big part of my daily life!

More users would in my opinion only dilute what exists here, as init says the whole ‘one word answer’ vibe of other sites does nothing for me. This is where my heart is and shall remain!!

This is the only site I use and have done since the days of FFC. Just reading the articles and bouncing my ideas of you guys has improved my rankings immensely and I’ve finished in the top 50k last two seasons. Don’t think I’ve ever even visited get FFScout site.

I’ve been watching a few of their scoutcast’s that they do lately on youtube and find them to be very helpful, I did give up on reading the comments section as half of the time it seems to be the same question repeated so you can see why it gets a bit tedious for those that frequent the place.
