Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 22 FPL News: After a somewhat bumper GW21 in terms of FPL points we can only hope GW22 took notice and follows suit! Liverpool should get that particular ball rolling as they begin the week for us at home to bottom club Swansea. The Reds are the top scorers in the league with 49 goals. Swansea have conceded the most with (ironically) 49 against. We then have five 3pm games before a Saturday evening cracker as Spurs look to test their title challenging form against a somewhat beleaguered Man City. Sunday begins with the Saints hosting Leicester in the early one before Tom Heaton goes to Arsenal in pursuit of yet more save points. Our GW finishes probably how it began with the only real question being ‘can Chelsea score more against Hull than Liverpool managed against Swansea’. As ever this is your platform to vent, rage, celebrate, jubilate… whatever takes your fancy.

Not a Bou fan but on similar grounds, Everton’s Davies at 4.4mn seems to tempt me

If I have no other issues in the next few days I will probably go with Davies and take out capoue

Wanyama unlikely to be a realistic option there so its 2 from 3. And that’s only if Toby is out for a while.
In my opinion, if you want Spurs defensive coverage you get Walker or Rose.

Unless Chelsea show signs of catastrophic disorganisation today and in the FA Cup I wouldn’t bother to be honest. Two wasted transfers and they could keep both Liverpool and Arsenal out. I would be looking to get Walker alongside my Chelsea if anything.
On your question above, Jones for me. I see Wimmer was brought off, tactically I guess, at half time yesterday. Too risky I think.

I’m glad you avoided my advice to use Defoe and stuck with your gut feeling. That’s why you should always follow that if you have ‘that’ feeling.

Thanks mate. I actually went against your advice because of my league position. I knew that if I went for defoe, the best I was going to get was either 8 points with defoe getting 6 for his one goal and foster getting 2 with no cs – or foster getting a clean sheet with 6 points and defoe getting 2 for turning up, so realised it was worth the gamble! was lucky. nearly into the top 1000 now – hoping sanchez is on fire today.
However you decided, I’m just glad it worked out.
