Live Match Chat Gameweek 22 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 22 FPL News: After a somewhat bumper GW21 in terms of FPL points we can only hope GW22 took notice and follows suit! Liverpool should get that particular ball rolling as they begin the week for us at home to bottom club Swansea. The Reds are the top scorers in the league with 49 goals. Swansea have conceded the most with (ironically) 49 against. We then have five 3pm games before a Saturday evening cracker as Spurs look to test their title challenging form against a somewhat beleaguered Man City. Sunday begins with the Saints hosting Leicester in the early one before Tom Heaton goes to Arsenal in pursuit of yet more save points. Our GW finishes probably how it began with the only real question being ‘can Chelsea score more against Hull than Liverpool managed against Swansea’. As ever this is your platform to vent, rage, celebrate, jubilate… whatever takes your fancy.

I played Jones ahead of Cedric… I’d have had 12 from each of my two defenders with Alonso to play and 7 from Foster in goal. Could have outscored some previous weeks just with my back 4
I find it pretty sad to see how poor Leicester are this season. Today they have shown nothing at all.
I get all the reasons- defending the trophy, lack of motivation, Kante gone, Huth a year older etc etc but to think this time last season their work rate proved us all wrong.
Agreed Cookie! They had Champions League to offer and a bunch of Kante cash to spend and they didn’t get any real recognized talent. Slimani may still help them out a lot, but they really needed to strengthen their starting 11.
Just proves the theory about the “smaller clubs” winning a title…
It’s a once in a lifetime achievement that usually happens when everything goes your way and every piece of he puzzle gets in it’s place somehow…
Teams like this usually play throughout the season in a “delirium” and are aware of what they have achieved only after it’s all over!
It’s a totally different mentality compared to the bigger clubs (bigger=more successful) where winning a title is good only until the start of the new season.
Then it’s back to basics and they start everything from scratch.
This Leicester generation has achieved their dream and they are done. For good !
Do not expect anything from them anymore…
In their heads they made history and they achieved the impossible.
The end.
Is yoshida nailed on now? Need to get rid of holebas. He is a yellow card magnet
yes yoshida nailed on. stephens still very young and will only be used as a sub. but saints arnt keeping many clean sheets at the moment
Lol, anyone remember Willem van Hanegem here? Part of the legendary Cruijf squads. Anyway, dude completely roasted Giroud and sort of praised Sanchez to another level. Hehe.
Personal preference is so obvious in ex players.
Sanchez not giving Giroud the ball. Hehe. Don’t want to stir up shit since I have both. But this gonna be fun.
Lol, Heaton will be on 15 saves soon.
Need a Giroud goal soon
The perfect scenario for me would be:
-Giroud to score at least 1
-Sanchez to stay quiet
-Costa to score at least 1
:satansmoking:
HL
My perfect scenario would be..
Sanchez Hatrick
Giroud subbed
Arsenal no cs
0-0 Chelsea v Hull
