Live Match Chat Gameweek 22 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 22 FPL News: After a somewhat bumper GW21 in terms of FPL points we can only hope GW22 took notice and follows suit! Liverpool should get that particular ball rolling as they begin the week for us at home to bottom club Swansea. The Reds are the top scorers in the league with 49 goals. Swansea have conceded the most with (ironically) 49 against. We then have five 3pm games before a Saturday evening cracker as Spurs look to test their title challenging form against a somewhat beleaguered Man City. Sunday begins with the Saints hosting Leicester in the early one before Tom Heaton goes to Arsenal in pursuit of yet more save points. Our GW finishes probably how it began with the only real question being ‘can Chelsea score more against Hull than Liverpool managed against Swansea’. As ever this is your platform to vent, rage, celebrate, jubilate… whatever takes your fancy.

Thinking about doing a transfer to my new team Coutinho to Firmino? Tonight is my last chance before Firmino goes up. Will Coutinho do better than Firmino in the future? Or will Mane’s return overshadow Firmino?
And I know taking out Coutinho after only one game is a bit of s knee jerk reaction but looking at his prior history he doesn’t seem to play the full 90 minutes like Firmino does. I really don’t know who to pick between the two. Anyone’s feedback is greatly appreciated.
What makes you think he will go up tonight? He’s showing as being closer to going down than up in price at the moment, and a lot of people already have ‘pool coverage so I doubt there will be a massive rush.
Seems to me like you’re just chasing points already scored – I’d stick.
Anyone who’s scored twice in a single match goes up by 1 in my experience within a week.
Who knows but it seems something of a sideways move and not one I would be making, it certainly would have been a better bet today!
You’re right but I would never have considered Firmino over a Coutinho until I looked into Coutinho’s play time
He’s coming back from a long injury and wouldn’t base your decision on his playing time today. I think over the season they will score similar. One week it will be Coutinho picking up the points next Firmino!
No I meant before injury he rearely seemed to play the full 90 minutes despite getting a lot of points.
Not against Chelsea
Keep him for another week
I would very much like to but Firmino will go up and I have nothing in the bank if he does. If he’s ever going to have a place on my team it’s now or never.
Not worth it. Coutinho is better and just getting back to fitness.
That’s my thought as well however I can’t wait for him to get back into fitness at the expense of points.
It’s ultimately up to you as it’s your team at the end of the day, but I’d honestly stay put.
Don’t get either with our form at the moment. Only 1 game won this year, Plymouth away, and we struggled in that one.
Don’t use your transfer, we have Soton at home midweek and Wolves at the weekend before our next Prem game in 31/1, and thats Chelski, who on our form will kill us.
Yeah you’re right
Thanks everyone for our replies you’ve convinced me to keep Coutinho let’s hope his fitness returns sooner rather than later.
No, you’ve already blew a FT on a GK, a sideways -4 (To keep a double up with Lallana) isn’t needed.
Yeah I agree. Arsenal’s fixtures look good though and Liverpool’s defence had to go there’s also the possibility of Karius replacing Mignolet after that game.
The title race is over for Liverpool – me thinks !!
Seems like it looks like Chelsea have it in the bag unless Spurs pull a miracle out of the hat
If the Spuds lose at Citeh then it really is good night, I’m looking forward to that one Doc.
Not worried about the defeat today…
And the 10pt difference Chelsea can make…
They are just conceding too many goals!!
No one has ever won the title like that…
We were never going to win it. I’ve said all along its a CL spot, anything else is a bonus. Our form is poor at the moment, its certainly not title winning form thats gor sure.
For sure.
van Dijk seems like a logical solution Elle…
Though it looks like it would be too late now… :/
Agh did a stupid knee jerk transfer from David Luiz to Cahill out of fearing his price will change without checking the next fixture will be on Tuesday.
This seasons price changes have made me too paranoid. At least now I have the team I want now and can focus on the path ahead without dwelling on past mistakes.
Its not this Tuesday Waxy, its the week after. Whos on your bench ?
Oh really? That’s good news he’s kind to go up then
My bench has playing players yet it’s extremely cheap to get a main team of this quality. I have Jakepovic, Nyom, de roon browning
At least you have managed to get your battery up to 17%…….
Back down to 8%
Boom big Andy scores again !!
DDG og
No mata own goal I believe
Shouldnt laugh but……lol !!
Should be Pieters assist.
It is, and hes second on my bench. Shite.
Darren Fletcher goal, it’s all happening this GW.
McAuley assist though
