Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News: After the hectic and somewhat disappointing midweek madness it’s straight back on the horse again barely three days later and we begin with a cracker at Saturday lunchtime. Arsenal practically wrote themselves out of the title race with that limp showing against Watford and if they are to have even the slightest chance of catching leaders Chelsea then this is a must win. We then have a chock full Saturday of entertainment with six 3pm kick offs before Spurs end our Saturday fun as they host ‘Boro in the late one. That leaves just the two on Sunday and Man City open it by playing Swansea in what looked likely to be a walkover a few weeks back. Maybe not now though, let’s see. Current Champions and current relegation strugglers Leicester round us off for the week by welcoming Zlatan and co at 4pm. Be sure to get involved as ever and post your comments below as the matches take place, your thoughts on them, your teams performance, your next moves ahead of GW25. Anything really, it’s an open platform. Most of all enjoy the games and good luck!

Thoughts guys

Lallana to Snodgrass or Sigurdsson. Need to have an eye on GW26 and GW28 with every move now I think.
Mitro
Initially I was going to go with siggy but Looking at the fixtures snoddie is probably the better option
nishant
Cheers guys
Appreciate your thoughts
Lalla to Snoddy it is
diznynut
Congratulations to everyone that had Lakaku, especially those that had him with the “C” I’m at 41 with cap-Ibra to play. hope for at least a brace.
I scored more with my three defenders 18 than with my five mid’s 10. If you add in my keeper, then the Def. had 23.

It’s a strange old game this one.
I think Ibra could well destroy that Leicester defence tomorrow. I hope so for you.

Being the lazy git that I am
Whats the criteria for a bgw in gw 28?
db
If a team doesnt play in gw 28 then they would fulfill all criteria for a bgw 28
Mitro
Lol
TheDreamers
I like it. I feel the need to rephrase though
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
If either or both the participants are still involved in the FA Cup which looks likely to be loads of them.
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
db’s answer was better

nishant

39 points with Ibra(C) to come. Don’t know what to do with Phillips and Lallana
Mitro
Phillips plays in GW26 so keep and just ditch lallana
ChrisOllie25
Yeah that’s sensible but Snodgrass can come in for him
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Ideally you would have Phillips, Snodgrass and Sigurdsson in soon to negotiate weeks 26 and 28.
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Yeah Phillips has to stay Chris.
ChrisOllie25
Siggy is an option. I just may keep Phillips, hope get back into form soon
ChrisOllie25
Can’t understand how Monreal and Giroud got bonus points while Alonso and Costa did not
hammers
Evening all,
Which West Ham mid would you go for out of snoddy & Antonio?
ChrisOllie25
Snoddy because he’s good on set peices
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
I had the same choice to make this week hammers and took Snodgrass.
I prefer his range of potential point scoring. Goalscoring, set plays and crosses for assists etc.
He’ll play in midfield whereas Antonio can be put anywhere including at full back.
hammers
Cheers guys,
Yeah I suppose with big Andy up there free kicks could be a good think to have in your locker. Sky score centre seemed to have Antonio playing up top on their formation page today, but I guess that wasn’t the case in the end.
Matt
I’d go for Snoddy for this exact reason.
ChrisOllie25
Yeah for sure he has more attacking potential to work with now
