Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News: After the hectic and somewhat disappointing midweek madness it’s straight back on the horse again barely three days later and we begin with a cracker at Saturday lunchtime. Arsenal practically wrote themselves out of the title race with that limp showing against Watford and if they are to have even the slightest chance of catching leaders Chelsea then this is a must win. We then have a chock full Saturday of entertainment with six 3pm kick offs before Spurs end our Saturday fun as they host ‘Boro in the late one. That leaves just the two on Sunday and Man City open it by playing Swansea in what looked likely to be a walkover a few weeks back. Maybe not now though, let’s see. Current Champions and current relegation strugglers Leicester round us off for the week by welcoming Zlatan and co at 4pm. Be sure to get involved as ever and post your comments below as the matches take place, your thoughts on them, your teams performance, your next moves ahead of GW25. Anything really, it’s an open platform. Most of all enjoy the games and good luck!

And it’s a wrap what an exciting game all the bottom ranked clubs on the ladder are performing well they’ve been fun to watch in fact all clubs have been playing exciting football except United and Liverpool.
Arsenal haven’t been playing that well but I wouldn’t call it boring.
Silva on for 2 bp’s despite no goal or assist.Siggy only down for 1.So it continues……
In fairness silva played well
He had a great chance to score and took more time than a granny crossing the road. Way past his best
Late yellow just been credited so might not even get 1 now.
Feel sorry for Swansea. Second half performance deserved a point
An I crazy for considering Lallana to Silva?
Yes.But we know that anyway……
Probably wrong timing with the BGW’s – Siggy and Snodgrass will be popular transfers I’d imagine
I could do a straight transfer to Siggy but I’m not convinced of his form. A candle flickers most violently right before it goes out
cant comment on todays game – but if there is a Swansea goal – he “appears” to be involved
I considered selling Siggy a few weeks ago. Very glad I held on. Lucky
So I have 2 FT’s (0.2 itb).
DDG/Pickford – so need to change one of these to have a playing keeper
Williams, Brunt, Pieters, Bellerin (had planned to trf for Alonso – havent done it yet), Amat (not playing)
Sanchez (hardly on fire and bgw’s), Stanislas (a problem), Philips (playing but not returning of late), Alli , Fletcher (bench fodder)
Ibra (potential captain next week against Watford), Lukaku, Kane
If I do Alonso (I have enough money) but means I cant fund others
I guess my question is – would you lose Bellerin? If so, for Alonso or cheaper (say Robertson) to fund Siggy or Snoddy?
or would you lose Sanchez , or Ibra?
or something else?
D, the Alonso switch looks fine for this week. Save the other FT and then next week bring in Jakupovic and look again at the Mids choice depending on injuries
That sounds like a decent idea too actually.
+1
I expected a “hit” option Mitro of some variety
hey Leprechaun, got distracted by the match.
If I do that, I’m reliant on no price changes to be able to afford
it also means playing 4 at the back next gw and I’ve still the same problem – ie someone needs sacrificing to upgrade Stan
How about Bellerin to Coleman and Stanislas to Snoddy ? Think im holding Sanchez and dumping Ibra despite his nice fixture in gw27.Unless he convinces me otherwise the next 2 games, starting now !
hey Brooky – would you double up on Everton defence? Already have Williams
Spoiling us lads
Handy isn’t it?
very much so
