Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 24 FPL News: After the hectic and somewhat disappointing midweek madness it’s straight back on the horse again barely three days later and we begin with a cracker at Saturday lunchtime. Arsenal practically wrote themselves out of the title race with that limp showing against Watford and if they are to have even the slightest chance of catching leaders Chelsea then this is a must win. We then have a chock full Saturday of entertainment with six 3pm kick offs before Spurs end our Saturday fun as they host ‘Boro in the late one. That leaves just the two on Sunday and Man City open it by playing Swansea in what looked likely to be a walkover a few weeks back. Maybe not now though, let’s see. Current Champions and current relegation strugglers Leicester round us off for the week by welcoming Zlatan and co at 4pm. Be sure to get involved as ever and post your comments below as the matches take place, your thoughts on them, your teams performance, your next moves ahead of GW25. Anything really, it’s an open platform. Most of all enjoy the games and good luck!

So, final score of 84 for me..decent week after long.cheers all
I’m grateful for the 46 this week with Valencia being my hero, horrible (c) pick of Aguero this GW as well.
Pretty content with my 49 score. Lol, I am scoring 40 points below average though. Last four or five gameweeks. Terrible.
My teams hit the skids a little as of late as well, I’m fortunate to still have a decent buffer in the mini league but I had high hopes of cracking the top K a couple of weeks back, I think I’ve just tried to be too clever with some of the recent moves and it’s all blew up a little. It’ll turn around though, always does
Yeah, I have been trying to tell myself that since early January.
Andy + Raz, so has Klopp. :big-lol:
What’s everyone’s plans for Jesus then? It’s looking more and more like he’s securing that spot up top for city, and they’re looking like they’ve remembered how to score goals. At 9.1 is he becoming a must have?
I guess the sensible thing to do is wait until after GW 28, see if he’s secured his place in the team, and think about transferring him in then. My only concern with this plan is what he does between now and then. With fixtures against Bournemouth and Sunderland that could provide my ML rivals with a great opportunity to make some ground on me. Also, god knows how much his price will rise between now and then.
Is there anything to be said for transferring him in now to avoid this? I’d be interested to hear other people’s thoughts and plans here.
If you can afford to have him on the bench for a week then I’d get him in ASAP. He looks the real deal and City will score plenty of goals in the coming weeks.
Could be a big risk Banjo. Citeh have the League, FA Cup and CL, so there will probably be a bit of rotation.
He looks nailed on though….
What’s your Kun plan Init?
Just gonna keep throwing in cross jokes until someone finally gets one That’s 4 now since Friday…
Anyway… not sure mate, he was always a one week punt, which didn’t exactly work out! Probably straight to Costa or Lukaku now. Costa was the original plan I believe. Need to look at my team again in relation to 26 & 28.
Haha sorry. That one was quite obvious too.
My original plan was Kun to Costa this week, which I’ll probably stick to.
Are you ignoring the son of god for now then?
Yea good point Elle. Are you avoiding for now on those grounds?
Well Kun hasn’t been his usual self this season but the rotation is a big factor.
Banjo – I would love to bring him in this week for the game against Bournemouth but then it means I have another headache to deal with
Hi Guys,
56 (-4) scored this week, pretty rubbish and losing ground on the leaders. Lots fo players also due to fall in price. Is it time to wildcard? I have 1FT and 0.6 ITB
Thanks
With team attached
Nah Allen to Snoddy job done for now.
How old is Kun ?
27 I think
28
He’s entering his peak
Be a good buy for someone in the summer. He won’t like sitting on Peps bench for to long.
I would love to see him at The Arsenal! He’s one of my favourite players from an opposing team!!
Jesus does look a good player though. Today was the first time I actually saw him play and he does have a lot of the same qualities that Kun has, he seems more of a poacher though, hopefully we will see in the next few GWs if can ping one from outside the box!
Real Madrid sniffing about with Benzema moved on in the summer.
Gents
Done lallana to siggy so this will be my team for GW25 – cappo is between Sanchez or Ibra
How do I look?
Looks good mate.Lets hope Arsenal can break down the defensive wall that is now Hull !!
I hope so too mate – they are starting to get me down!!
that looks good Mitro
Cheers dreamers
Have a look at post 161 if you have a chance Mitro
Would Kane to Ibra this week be utterly daft ?
I think this BGW is messing with our heads – play the game your way!
Always do Mitro. Kane has let everybody down so many times, me included. Watford at home for Ibra is looking like a tasty fixture, more than Kane away at our gaffe. Other 2 strikers being Luk + Costa.
Ibra at home against Watford should get you more points than Kane against pool
