  1. Do we know what happened to Gabiddon??? Because of him Palace probs did not keep a clean sheet AND I have Mr ZERO pointer Koscielny coming in for him…yay!!

    • Kung Fu, in same boat mate! Thought it was a good move to bench Mertesacker, but no there he is with his nil points thanks to Gabbidon! Gabbidon has the form and had the fixture! No idea why he was benched!!!

  4. Is it worth holding onto Kolarov? I have absolutely no clue if Man City even have a first choice LB and for the price i could get Azpil from chelsea.
    Anyone else thinking of ditching him?

    • I have Kolarov and I’ll be holding on to him because his attacking threat is INSANE. He is the preferred LB, but will still be rotated with Clichy. However I think that it’s necessary to have Chelsea defensive coverage, so it would be understandable to want to trade him out for Azpi. Since Clichy started today I think Kolarov is pretty much guaranteed to start on Wednesday, and considering he plays Sunderland at home you might wanna keep him for one GW longer. That being said, Chelsea plays WBA away so they have a chance of a CS…
      It’s up to you whether to keep him or not really, it’s hard to say if you should take him out this week or not.

        Appreciate your view – thanks.
        I’ll give him one more week then and add him into the mix of any reshuffle needed for the fixture fun the fa cup will throw up.
        Ideally i want chelsea and man city defenders, and think that 2 premium defs is probably the best way to go, but i’m reluctant to get rid of Coleman. Decsions decsions….

          Concerning Jovetic – The plan is to keep him until Aguero is fit, however I will of course assess his place in my team depending on his game-time and returns. He was subbed at 60 min today so I reckon he and Dzeko will start on Wednesday, hopefully he’ll play well and cement his place in the team.

          You’re very welcome to join me man, I’ve called him the punt of the century before, and while he didn’t deliver today he could very well live up to my hopes for him as he’s playing for the most scoring team in the PL and has a ownership of merely 0.4%!

        • I think you may be playing with fire on this one. Just with game-time really. I nearly went for him today but decided I didn’t need the stress every week of wondering if he would start so I went with Lambert simply because he will.

        • J Rod is not doing the trick for me – so I am looking for a replacement, really…
          Not sure Jovetic will start the next 2 games but Dzeko & Negredo are not in the best form , either…
          TBH – ok, here comes a bold statement — : think City does not have the bench for the title !!! especially not with injured Kun !
          I might stay clear of City’s forwards till Kun comes back but I desperately need a good 3rd forward…

          Yeah I know it’s a gamble, however I managed to rationalize myself to the conclusion that he was likely to feature a lot in the coming matches after posting several lengthy comments on this site and getting feedback. Let’s just hope I’m right ^^

    • Kola has a good fixture in midweek and should start as Clichy played today. But you might want to lose him after next GW as rotations will kick in more when City has other competitions too.

    Not so bad.. hope Mata delivers! How’s everyone else shaping up?

    Typical Hazard: 3 points vs WHU when I captain him, 21 when I don’t laugh

    • James i swear i changed the arm band to Hazard from Lallana on someones logic that “Hazard was due a brace”. If it was Lallana, i would have lost on 32 feckin points.

      I am at 65 + Erik + Goalman.

      Points heavily reliant on Hazard, defence has been crappy apart from Olsson who is on bench obviously laugh

    • 41 with Coleman, Eriksen, Mata and RVP (c), could go either way really.

      Feeling the same about Hazard, but glad I at least held onto him. Mini-league captain only went and bloody captained him didn’t he :cuss:

      I’m feeling that same Hazard frustration.
      54 for me with Coleman and Mata to play.
      We’ll both be hoping for a RVP-free Man Utd rout tomorrow then.
      I’m torn over the Everton game though. Want Coleman points but not an Everton CS. My rivals gone triple Everton defense again. Hate it when that pays off for him.

  6. Anyone noticing City’s fixtures?

    Sun, Stoke, BLANK, AV, Hull, DGW

    Tempting me to get Negredo already.

    • It could be blank – blank yet as the AV game is on the weekend of the quarter finals of the cup though them next two fixtures sure look pretty if your offloading Giroud.

    • Worth considering that Aguero will be back after the blank gameweek. Saying that I’ve got Negredo and hoping for something in the next couple of games, had him at different points this season and hasn’t paid off so far.
