3 match ban coming for Toure…
Really? I suspected as much when I heard it on the radio today. They didn’t make much of it but it crossed my mind at the time. I’ve not seen MOTD yet. Did they pick up on it?
Yes, it was discussed on MOTD. It’s not definite but I think he’ll get a ban. There wasn’t much to it but he did “kick out”.
Bellamy could get one as well but ref might have seen that one.
I think I’m the only one in my main mini league who has Silva instead of Toure. If he does get a ban that would suit me just fine. I was surprised he got away with that during the match, it was every bit as bad as Andy Carroll’s foul that he was red carded for.
Totally agree, hope he gets red as I have Silva and so Man City start failing
Would be a disaster for City if Toure was banned – that would mean they would be without 3 of their 5 irreplaceable players (Aguero, Fernandinho and Toure, the two others being Silva and Kompany). If he’s not banned before their match on Wednesday he’ll be banned for the Carling Cup final!
At least that would mean Silva is nailed on for a bit

Silva and Toure plays in different positions, so Toure being banned probably won’t affect Silva. Besides, Silva is pretty much nailed on anyways.

I’m on 48 points with Baines, Eriksen and Mata (C) to play. I got to be happy with that as I expect to be well above average come tomorrow night, it’s not utopian to hope for 20 points or so from captain Mata. You?

Yup, I’m quite happy. I need a big score from Mata as one H2H opponent in a cup capped Hazard and has Sterling, so he has a 19 point lead on me with Rooney to play. It’s completely unrealistic of me to hope to beat him, but if United tears Fulham apart and Rooney blanks I *might* have a chance…
So Davies is last on my bench and got a clean sheet. Coleman will be coming in for Gabbidon today.

I certainly wouldn’t want to take a hit on those two players unless your thinking of playing a 3-5-2. (I stick to 3-4-3 as much as possible). Bringing in Sterling dosen’t seem such a good idea as you already have the SAS and you’ll find it hard for Liverpool to continue scoring like they did today. (they can’t play Arsenal every week). Johnson to Nolan seems a decent shout but watch for what happens to Toure as if he’s suspended Millner may be worth a punt for the next two home games.

My thinking is that I don’t have much of a bench and there’s a rotation risk for the midweek games. It will also give me more cover for league cup GW and potentially fa cup GW. Good fixtures should make value go up as well.
EBC I concur with the Dreamers and Andy – not worth a hit by any stretch. Do one transfer to replace AJ. The other forces you to drop Benteke surely so not worth it?
