Well Cookie, apart from only having 1 defender play any part in any match I still managed a not hideous 59 with mata left to play.. If I’d have captained haz then I’d be laughing..
Gained another6 points so far on my league leader so I’m happy.. Down to 28 from 130 at one stage

Hey initt, that’s a good shout but with Bruce not starting and Vlaar a constant doubt, shouldn’t I sort one of these 2 first?
Yeah possibly but I was just thinking that with Ward and Distin + 1 you had a back 3 but you may be as well to sort out a 4th option as you never know.
But then he’s left with only 3 nailed / uninjured defenders.
With the blank gws coming up, I think that’s risky. You’re gonna need 15 playing players over 28 & 29 so need to sort problems now in my opinion.
I have the same kind if problem.. See above. I’m leaning towards getting rid of Bruce. As when Vlaar returns he’ll play 90 every time, being captain and their best defender. Bruce isn’t nailed by any stretch if the imagination.
So Bruce out.. I’m thinking about Reid at WH but need to know how his recovery is going. He’s played 15 mins for past 2 games.. Will he start now ? Other than that I don’t actually know. There’s obviously other hull defenders, nor which or even Flanagan or Toure as short term options..
I don’t really have an answer, I’m just thinking out loud. What do think ?
Demsie and arka – thanks guys, appreciate your feedback, yeah Vlaar has some good fixtures coming up and when he’s fit Villa are a strong side. So I agree, Bruce out…
…WHU have the most CS so far, but face Southampton and Everton in their next 3, so (for now) should maybe be looked beyond.
Another option would be a nailed Hull defender, as they’re looking strong too, with good fixtures ahead…
Demsie you may as well keep the 2 Chelsea. See how Utd look today ahead of the Arsenal game. I can see Arsenal keeping it very tight given what happened yesterday. I think Reid is being dealt with carefully to get him back properly but with another CS I imagine they will be reluctant to change the team just for now.
Sort Bruce out first i think and prepare for the blank GW already. Vlaar should be back by then so you will have better options to pick from in blank GW.

Bertrand? Has nailed the LB spot at WH and usually plays full game unless tactical subs are required.
Also AV has decent coming 3 fixtures, so you’ll probably play him 3 GWs in a row including blank GW.
Otherwise you can get Olsson from Norwich like me for 4.2M. Has proved solid for me after WC. Has given me 3 clean sheets so far and an assist as well.
Vlaar/Bruce to Collins maybe ?
Yah HL I thought that but with Reid being back even a bit, it meAns Collins isn’t nailed. The second CB place would be between him and tomkins
