Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News: We are off!! Can you say goal-fest? Well, that is what managers who are backing Ibra and the newly minted Mickey Mouse Cup champions are hoping for, when United host the shambolic defending of the Cherries. After United put 5 on Bournemouth in the lunch time kick-off, we see five 3pm fixtures follow that. Leicester won’t have it as easy as they did last week vs LFC as they face Hull this week, Stoke and Boro match up in a fixture that a sadist might make someone watch. If that last fixture isn’t enough to bore someone to death, perhaps Swans vs Burnley on tape delay? If you have enough time, make sure to also check out Watford take on the Saints and The Baggies square off against Palace. That might be the worst package of five fixtures I have ever seen that start at the same time. If you somehow made it without jumping off a bridge to the last game of the day, congratulations. Luckily, the 5:30 game promises a bit more talent and two teams desperate for a result. When the Wenger In/Out crew tangles with perennial trolls Liverpool. That one should be fun and full of angst for both set of fans.

Sunday sees two fixtures. In what hopefully is the fixture of the week, Spurs tangle with the Toffees. These two are both in great form and bring star power with a Kane vs Lukaku match-up. In the late game, Sunderland welcome in City. The Black Cats who sit bottom need a result badly and City who are on the up, will be a very difficult home game, well, unless Pep does Peppy things and rotates his team into a loss.

Monday caps the game-week off when The Hammers host Chelsea. West Ham usually gives CFC some trouble at home, winning 2 of the last 4. So maybe this could be more entertaining than it appears on paper.

    Evening all,
Some semi decent scores about, im currently in 33000th position on 66-8 with Triple(c)Kun, Sterling, Alonso and Pieters to play, hopefully Kun scores at least a brace and ALSO picks up all 3 bonus points mid week!
I’m looking thin on the ground for next week though – 5 playing, 1ft, 0.2 itb. Thinking Ibra or Kun out – Lukaku or llorente in. Also considering taking a hit to field 7 rather than 6 but undecided on that one! Any thoughts on my thoughts welcome smile

Guys thinking of going early and doing sterling to firminho for a hit.. any reason why I should wait? Or should i do something else?

No particular reason to wait. Other than the usual, some other surprise injury in training etc. You will have 2 Pool mids though coming into two tough games after this week. Personally I’d go for Siggy unless you are planning a swoop for Llorente at a later stage.

I’m having that problem don’t really want to be stuck with double Liverpool or Swansea. Man City still can’t defend though so expect there to be goals in that one

      • man u man says:

Hey Initt. No I hadn’t planned to get Llorente, I just thought Firmino at home to Burnley could be a good shout, Siggy could be a better one but I already have Carroll. I think I need to get Kane though after 28. He’s killing me every week.

      • Red Robbo says:

The way Liverpool have been playing, Burnley will probably be the tougher game for them and Man City & Everton will be a breeze. Their record against the top teams this season is outstanding – it’s the little teams they have let themselves (and us!) down in so far. I’m toying with the idea of doubling up myself.

Any news on who will blank again or when the doubles are likely to be announced. Kind of want to use the wild card as soon as possible

Thoughts on my team folks? 1FT and 0.2m ITB. Some options:
    A. Marney to Tom Carroll
    B. Marney and Defoe for Josh King and Llorente for a 4pt hit.
    C. Something else?
Long term I want to ditch Cech for a cheapie but no point doing it this week as I have Jaku to play.

Alright chaps I think I’m ready for 28 without destroying my team too much!
    Am I set?

    Jaku /
    Coleman / Fernandez
    Mane / Siggy / Snoddy / Davies
    Luka (c) / Lorente

    Bench, Heaton /Kane / Sterling / Yoshi / Walker / Alonso

Got 4.5m ITB to do Lorente > Costa for 29′
