Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News: We are off!! Can you say goal-fest? Well, that is what managers who are backing Ibra and the newly minted Mickey Mouse Cup champions are hoping for, when United host the shambolic defending of the Cherries. After United put 5 on Bournemouth in the lunch time kick-off, we see five 3pm fixtures follow that. Leicester won’t have it as easy as they did last week vs LFC as they face Hull this week, Stoke and Boro match up in a fixture that a sadist might make someone watch. If that last fixture isn’t enough to bore someone to death, perhaps Swans vs Burnley on tape delay? If you have enough time, make sure to also check out Watford take on the Saints and The Baggies square off against Palace. That might be the worst package of five fixtures I have ever seen that start at the same time. If you somehow made it without jumping off a bridge to the last game of the day, congratulations. Luckily, the 5:30 game promises a bit more talent and two teams desperate for a result. When the Wenger In/Out crew tangles with perennial trolls Liverpool. That one should be fun and full of angst for both set of fans.
Sunday sees two fixtures. In what hopefully is the fixture of the week, Spurs tangle with the Toffees. These two are both in great form and bring star power with a Kane vs Lukaku match-up. In the late game, Sunderland welcome in City. The Black Cats who sit bottom need a result badly and City who are on the up, will be a very difficult home game, well, unless Pep does Peppy things and rotates his team into a loss.
Monday caps the game-week off when The Hammers host Chelsea. West Ham usually gives CFC some trouble at home, winning 2 of the last 4. So maybe this could be more entertaining than it appears on paper.

It’s that time of the night…
When someone can ask a stupid question and get away with it …
Why is Antonio still showing as “red flagged” for GW28 ?
He is suspended till March 11th and on the My Team page for next GW he should be showing as available no?
I believe he should be showing as available. They’ve probably just not updated it yet.
HL, It will update tonight – noticed it earlier in the season. You need to wait until the last suspended game has been played.
Amat got a minute against Burnley – woop woop! What are the chances he’s recalled for the Hull game? 😛
Unlikely I would think Captain, he seems to have nailed that spot on the bench and was only likely brought on to waste time after Swans’ late winner.
Morning All,
What should I be doing for GW28? I have used my FT and did Kane to Llorente willing to take upto a -8 if needed.
I have 6.5 ITB
Mitro, there are plenty of moves you could make but I would suggest it depends on your mini-league now, as to how much you attack the GW – see waht your rivals have etc….
Cookie,
Below are my opponents teams – the bottom one has already made a transfer and according to that transfer spy on FF Fix he has done capoue to king.
Mitro, I’d ditch Sterling for either Firmino or Coutinho or a West Ham mid – see how they play tonight. I fancy the Hammers to score at Bournemouth.
Hey Mitro, I brought in Siggy and Llorente for a -4 last night meaning we have almost identical teams (Im not copying honest!!) I figure the -4 for Siggy is in reality a -2 and if he does anything the hit is worth it even if say he assists I’m 1 point better off. With this mindset I’m also thinking i’ll bring in Firmino for Sterling as again it will be a -2 if Firmino plays and then if Firmino does anything Im better off. If i do make further moves it will probably only be for Mids or Forwards as i think its too risky hitting for a defender as they are the least likely to pay off and clean sheets are somewhat unpredictable, Ill caveat that by saying someone like Baines is the exception to the rule given his being on pens and attacking potential.
I’ll then look at 29 in isolation and look at who i need going forward which will probably involve a few strategic hits!
morning guys had a very good week 80 point minus 8bd still have costa alonso and sane (c) silva cabellero and arnuatovic still to play. ive went top of ML 7 points seperating top 3. How is my team looking for gw28. ive take. 8 points hit. not sure yet what to do aftwe gw28 but id probably do hazard for carroll but will cross that bridge when i get there.
here is my gw28 team likely to have 8/9 players depending on holgate.
Brilliant, well played mate
Hey guys I can’t decide which way to go between Snods & Lorente for Stirling or Kun. The next 3 fixtures for both are reasonable and both play GW28.
After City and Everton, Liverpool seem to have a run of fixtures that look really good or horrendous depending which team turns up. They will probably get 6 points off City & Everton then struggle to get another 10. Got Mane now and might get Firmino in GW 31. Just depends how the DGWs pan out and whether WC and benchboost still works.
Kruz,
Unless Snods shows something, anything tonight I’d go Llorente. He’s in much better form mate.
Hoping to reach 100 points this week and win the mini league title and the cash reward. Seems like my squad changes finally started paying off however Walcott and Lallana are a problem I hope they find their form soon as u cannot replace them.
Lallana was outstanding against Arsenal!
Only got 2 points though epl only cares about goals and assists so people like Kante get the shaft
True. I suppose my point was that if the Arsenal game is anything to go by Lallana has rediscovered some form.
