Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News: We are off!! Can you say goal-fest? Well, that is what managers who are backing Ibra and the newly minted Mickey Mouse Cup champions are hoping for, when United host the shambolic defending of the Cherries. After United put 5 on Bournemouth in the lunch time kick-off, we see five 3pm fixtures follow that. Leicester won’t have it as easy as they did last week vs LFC as they face Hull this week, Stoke and Boro match up in a fixture that a sadist might make someone watch. If that last fixture isn’t enough to bore someone to death, perhaps Swans vs Burnley on tape delay? If you have enough time, make sure to also check out Watford take on the Saints and The Baggies square off against Palace. That might be the worst package of five fixtures I have ever seen that start at the same time. If you somehow made it without jumping off a bridge to the last game of the day, congratulations. Luckily, the 5:30 game promises a bit more talent and two teams desperate for a result. When the Wenger In/Out crew tangles with perennial trolls Liverpool. That one should be fun and full of angst for both set of fans.

Sunday sees two fixtures. In what hopefully is the fixture of the week, Spurs tangle with the Toffees. These two are both in great form and bring star power with a Kane vs Lukaku match-up. In the late game, Sunderland welcome in City. The Black Cats who sit bottom need a result badly and City who are on the up, will be a very difficult home game, well, unless Pep does Peppy things and rotates his team into a loss.

Monday caps the game-week off when The Hammers host Chelsea. West Ham usually gives CFC some trouble at home, winning 2 of the last 4. So maybe this could be more entertaining than it appears on paper.

  1. Afternoon gents, hope you all having a good gw.One big question for my team.Would you rather have aguero from now on or Ibra, until the dgw anyway, can t have both.

    • Areet teo, I think Ibra may be looking at a suspension after that elbow on Mings so at the minute I’d go Aguero.

      • Last I heard, both have been pulled up and are looking at sanctions

  2. OK need to get my season back on track after 3 disastrous GW & dropping out of the top 50k to 150k its time to do something about it. At this point I see the main attacking points in Kane , Costa & Llorente with Mane or Firmino who ??? Erik , Sanchez & Morrison from GW 32 change Erik to Sterling any other I should consider ???

    • I’ve just checked my team, with a few hits I can do a lot and keep the shit going. GW28 I have 9 players already with a FT in the bank. I will get Firminho and ummm Llorente. GW29 I have a lot of good players with good fixtures, apart from the Pool (but Pool have great fixures from GW30+.

Might WC In GW33 or GW34. Looking how the doubles will be setup. ;But I should be fine. The guys that have a double in GW34 (bigger teams) are also the teams with a DGW in GW37.

You doing bad this GW? Haven’t you used TC on KUN? Do you have Kun and Sterling?

      • On Sanchez, first we need to know what happened between him and ummm Wenger. Wenger did a 180 on Sanchez. From most essential keyplayer, to not even admitting the team got better with him in it, in the second half.

    • Cheers Raz , Cookie & Milburn had do a bit of work this afternoon so didn’t get time to respondsmile

  3. Am I the only one who thinks Sanchez days at Arsenal could have come to an end? Not only was he benched but Wenger in his speech after the game was pretty clear. The commentator was like, things got better when Sanchez got in the second half. Instead of giving Sanchez credit Wenger started talking about the team and that it wasn’t as easy in the first half. Don’t excactly recall what he said. But usually he sticks up so many feathers up Sanchez ass, he looks like a peacock. Saturday Wenger would have none of that, instead of a peacock, Sanchez just looks like a cock.

I could be wrong. Haha, oooh yeah, didn;t James have the Wenger avatar where Wenger looks like a dickhead?

  4. A question. FFFix has been sitting on a list of at least 8 upward price movements for three days. Is this just against their success rate, or is their and EPL rule holding rises over the game period? Thanks.

    • I’ve seen tweets from Fix and FPL Statistics which suggest the DGW has had an effect on the price rises/falls.

    • Ki, I think a lot of people have used their wildcards recently which I think confuses their system. That could be 1 explanation.

      • Thanks, guys. I’ve time to move, so I’ll wait.

  5. All right folks, I’ve made my moves early for next week. I took a hit to do Ibra l and Stan out for Lukaku and Fraser. I wasn’t planning on taking a hit but Stanislaus had to go! Thoughts?

    • Looks pretty well set Pancho. Guessing Siggy was out of reach? Have a feeling I’ll be back and forth with armband between Lukaku and Mane this week too.

    • Pancho

      Looks good
      Why no siggy?
U saving cash to rebuild for 29?

      • Colriles and Biggy, saving cash. Wanted to get back to a cheaper fifth mid. Still may do Siggy in for an additional hit but not sure. Wanting to be set up for the run in. I rate Siggy pretty high but Llorente seems the Swans player to have right now tbh. Only time will tell though…
Thanks for taking a look and for the comments!

  6. Hey gang. 68 (-4) so far this week with triple cap Kun, Sterling & Grant to come. Sterling > Siggy seems my no brainer, right? Or Phillips > Carroll to be done with the Phillips headache? All suggestions welcome.

    1 FT, 1.4 itb
    -Team for 28-
    Jaku
    Baines, Nyom, Amat
    Mane, Lanzini, Phillips
    Lukaku, Gray
