Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 FPL News: We are off!! Can you say goal-fest? Well, that is what managers who are backing Ibra and the newly minted Mickey Mouse Cup champions are hoping for, when United host the shambolic defending of the Cherries. After United put 5 on Bournemouth in the lunch time kick-off, we see five 3pm fixtures follow that. Leicester won’t have it as easy as they did last week vs LFC as they face Hull this week, Stoke and Boro match up in a fixture that a sadist might make someone watch. If that last fixture isn’t enough to bore someone to death, perhaps Swans vs Burnley on tape delay? If you have enough time, make sure to also check out Watford take on the Saints and The Baggies square off against Palace. That might be the worst package of five fixtures I have ever seen that start at the same time. If you somehow made it without jumping off a bridge to the last game of the day, congratulations. Luckily, the 5:30 game promises a bit more talent and two teams desperate for a result. When the Wenger In/Out crew tangles with perennial trolls Liverpool. That one should be fun and full of angst for both set of fans.
Sunday sees two fixtures. In what hopefully is the fixture of the week, Spurs tangle with the Toffees. These two are both in great form and bring star power with a Kane vs Lukaku match-up. In the late game, Sunderland welcome in City. The Black Cats who sit bottom need a result badly and City who are on the up, will be a very difficult home game, well, unless Pep does Peppy things and rotates his team into a loss.
Monday caps the game-week off when The Hammers host Chelsea. West Ham usually gives CFC some trouble at home, winning 2 of the last 4. So maybe this could be more entertaining than it appears on paper.

guys i know im maybe looking abit far ahead but is anyone considering either Welbeck or Rashford as 3 choice strickers after gw28. Both good value and should get a rush of games. Wpuld love to hear your thought. Both could be brought in to replace llorente.
Saloba, Rashford no. United don’t score enough and when they did score Ibra was generally involved. Rashford hasn’t scored since September. Welbeck does interest me – he always looks like scoring and is in a team that creates chances, but I do worry about gametime.
Its Gabbiadini for me in that price bracket – no contest on current form.
Hi Saloba, personally I’m leaning more towards Gabbiadini to fill that 3rd striker spot. 4 Goals in his first 3 matches as well as 1 (should have been 2) in the league cup final. The blokes on fire at the minute!
fair enough guys i think ur right with gabbi. i think i was looking for something but missed out the obvious. Cheers for input
FPL need to sort their app out fast, it is still showing a full fixture list for this coming game week. A lot of players will have a big surprise coming if they only use the app rather than the website. Poor from FPL really. A lot of wasted transfers coming!
Robin, I agree it’s poor. If you look just below our Hot Coments bit there’s a tab there which says Fixtures. Give that a click. Voila!
My colleague uses the app and it shows the four fixtures – he’s just showed me…….
I don’t use the app but I’ve just checked and the fixtures are correct. In saying that I have seen a lot of folk on twitter complaining about the app.
I just use Init. :big-lol:
Well, this is weird as I’ve just checked mine and it has a full fixture list. Go figure…
those bloody Portuguese phones 😉
Ehehe or english apps…
So Mings is defending the stamping accusation…
Haven’t seen any news yet from ManU/Ibra – probably realise there’s no point
they have until 6pm this evening to appeal
True mate, but I doubt the “he jumped into my elbow” will carry much weight at a disciplinary appeal
hee hee – almost as good as the “I was walking against the wind” excuse I used at school once. That didn’t work either, but have to try these things
That might have worked on the East Coast of Scotland where the trees seem to grow sideways.
Not sure where you are from Cookie but, since the excuse didn’t work, I’m guessing elsewhere
Most things are wonky in Scotland, but I heard mostly on the south west coast 😉
Cookie, are you insinuating GP is wonky ? 😉
who? me? how dare you! :big-lol:
I might be late to this but it’s been a bit of a wonky old day.
Well, sounds like ‘wonky’ 😉
Bonky?
I was thinking more of changing the first vowel. :cuss:
Hey Cookie any news on Ibra.
3 match ban as expected Silvers.
Bournemouth are appealing Mings’ charge.
He hasn’t got a leg to stand on 😉
Hello, does anyone know where I can find a good site with odds for clean sheet & goalscorers?
https://www.fantasyfootball247.co.uk is the best I know coys9
I already know this side buddy. It’s the best! Haha
fantasyfootballgeek.co.uk often lists the odds within the articles. Can be quite useful if you’re looking to make odds based decisions.

Hold Phillips or get Snodgrass
Ibrahimovic – Llorente but maybe swans overkill or hold and swap for Kane/Costa next GW
Sane – Firmino
Any other moves (happy for a hit if needed)
Thanks
Hey Rip,
Ibra to Llorente for sure and yeah Sane to someone…..Antonio, Liv mid, Barkley……..whoever you fancy really
Any Ibra owners? The Football Association released the following statement on Tuesday afternoon:
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after he admitted an FA charge of violent conduct and accepted the standard penalty.
No point appealing, just makes it worse. Sell, sell, sell!
Llorente bandwagon is about to fall over with this news.
Do you have him yet Cookie?
No, I need to use Ibra to get Lukaku back after selling him last week……not the greatest move, in hindsight
Think this might finally be the week where Origi goes (after about 6 weeks of trying)…. although he did get me an assist at the weekend.
Of course he set up Wiji’s goal didn’t he? You can’t sell him now!!
