I’ve been looking at Sterling, but recently Sissoko and Henderson have come to mind..

Like Sterling, they’re (relatively) in form and have DGW… but also, unlike Raheem, they are nailed for their respective teams, which is making me think twice about Sterling.

So, with this in mind, would you take Sterling (my preference), Sissoko or Henderson?

      NIN says:

I’ve been looking at Henderson recently, as you say he’s nailed on but Sterling would be my shout. Hendo is quite unreliable really, few big hauls here and there but in general it’s 2 & 3 pointers/

      • jamesimmo says:

Yeah true.. if Sterling was nailed I’d get him in a heartbeat.. but I guess it boils down to safe (Sissoko) or risky (Sterling) hmm – with SAS too of course!

        • NIN says:

Rodgers could just be giving him a short break, rest time for him a little but with the way he performs i don’t see him being rested for too long, he’s had a very impressive season, speedy little shit!! Ha.

        • jamesimmo says:

Rapid haha, cheers mate, think I’ll go with SSS for the DGW!

Good morning folks, how did you’s get on yesterday ?? A kinda shitty 44 here ha. Oh, and what the hell is happening with Aguero ?? I noticed he’s being snapped up left right and bloody center, i kinda hope he gets injured now haha, loopers.

      jamesimmo says:

Will you be getting him in for this week NIN? Just as late as possible?

      • NIN says:

jamesimmo – Absolutely mate, once he’s fit of course. I’ll have a few quid left over no matter which moves i decide to make so i’m in no rush, a close eye will need to be kept on TFPL though, this week should be a crazy one !!

        • jamesimmo says:

Yeah it should! If I do Ade —–> Agüero tonight I’ll save 0.3m, but if I do it after the CL game as you should I’ll know for sure he’s fit…

        • NIN says:

Yes, where Aguero is involved we should proceed with Caution i think, he’s well dodgy for the injuries as we all know ha, shame really because he’s a superb player.

      Andy says:

I was more than happy with a 45 from 6 players and a sub, I might have had a better result if Hazard hadn’t of scored that penalty but to be fair the way he played he was unlucky to only score 9 yesterday. Can’t believe Mourinho’s still saying Citeh are title favorite’s, though I did have a little laugh at his interview on MOTD. I think I’m in a good position for the next two GW’s so it’s all gravy. You still chewing over selling Suarez for Aguero?

      • NIN says:

Nice one Andy, that’s good going from 7 players. I didn’t see much of the Chelsea game but yeah, Hazard looked to be on fire !! Haven’t seen MOTD yet i will watch it shortly though haha. I decided to keep Suarez mate, it may mean downgrading Ivanovic but considering Aguero’s (c) potential i think it’s worth it. Could also downgrade Gerrard but my ML rivals all have Sterling so i think it’s best to keep Stevie-G.

        • Andy says:

Good move keeping ol’king Luis. I’m also taking out Ivan to free up cash but I’m moving to Distin who has two DGW’s left, having Cech as my GK makes it a little easier to sell Ivan.

        • NIN says:

Happy days it’s good you have Cech so, there’s a nice steady flow of clean sheets there, 6-8 pointers aplenty!!

      The B says:

Managed 51 points, which is pretty good i guess.

And yes im on the Aguero boat already. laugh

Guys team is linked..im planning ahead for double gw, this week I have two fts so Im thinking adam->yyt and ade->aguero..that would give me negative cash so i either want to do sagna->hull def or flanagan, or lallana->sissoko but this would mean missing lallanas good fixture this week but getting sissoko for dgw..the sagna move is also because despite having a dgw he has bad fixtures whereas flanagan or a hull def have comparatively better imo (hull has good dgw fixtures)
Also, I have lallana for 8m so im not losing too much if i sell him now to get him back later

    • 155.1
      The B says:

I prefer Sissoko at the moment, mainly because he faces Fulham and then has a DGW. While Lallana faces Norwich, which is not an easy opponent.

      • jamesimmo says:

Would you have him over Sterling B?

        • The B says:

Nop. Sterling has better chances of moving forward and plays in company of SaS.

        • jamesimmo says:

Yeah, if Sterling was nailed it’d be an east choice, but with Lucas back I’m hearing he’s not whereas Sissoko is. Tough call really..

        • Marky1boo says:

Personally would prefer Sterling BUT I would run with Sissoko & agree with B because Newcastle’s fixtures are very good over next 4 matches.
Depends on sterling being rotated by Rodgers so it’s a coin flip really.

    Marky1boo says:

    Morning Guys,
Hope you all had a good GW as I only had 49 from 9 players sad
Anyhow need some serious advice because I seem to have come up with a blank & because Aguero has already taken off with buyers I need to board the train ( reluctantly ) before his CL game.
    Team is as follows :
    Cech, Mannone
    Coleman, Ivanovic, Collins, Fonte, Ward
    Hazard, Gerrard, Lallana, Mata, Jedinak
    Suarez, Sturridge, Adebayor
    Transfers : 2
    Bank : 1.5M

I’m thinking of following team for -4pt hit this week to accommodate Aguero, Silva ( 0.8M short for yaya )
    After Transfers :
    Mannone, ( ADRIAN )
    Coleman, Ivanovic, Collins, Fonte, Ward
Hazard, Gerrard, Lallana, ( SILVA ), Jedinak
    Suarez, Sturridge, ( AGUERO )
    Bank : 0.0M, Transfers : -4pts

Is this the best I can do & is it worth it ? … Aguero can be a beast though is injury prone & trying to justify this hit because I’m 24pts down in my mini league & leader never takes a hit.
Your advice is really appreciated guys so hope to hear from you in due course.

Is there anybody online this morning ? … Wakey Wakey guys smile

    • 156.2
      The B says:

Dont take a hit for Silva.

See if you can accommodate Aguero somehow. Silva wont do much this GW, based on his past points earned.

      • Marky1boo says:

        Hi B,
The problem I have is that I would love to have YAYA but I’m 0.8M short ?
Therefore with the double gameweek coming up I can only accommodate aguero in by dropping mata for silva to save the 0.4M for Aguero ?
Otherwise if I miss the boat today B then the aguero transfer will need me shifting a player that I want to keep such as Hazard & Ivanovic & Suarez & Sturridge ?
Either way it seems I need to take that -4pt hit to catch Aguero before the rise because people are buying him before the CL game this coming week ( totally daft ) ?
Who would you suggest other than Silva then ? … Nasri & Navas are not guaranteed starters & possible to rotate where as Silva should be more nailed on as a starter like Yaya ?

    • 156.3
      Andy says:

Sorry marky it’s just a tough question that’s all, I guess it’s just down to personal preferences, if your happy in risking signing Aguero before the CL game and price rises then go for it but if you don’t fancy taking the risk then you could go Ade -> Lukaku and Mata -> Yaya. It’s going to be tough for a lot of people to fit the SAS and Aguero into their team without a size-able hit or WC.

      • Marky1boo says:

        Hi Andy,
Any reply regardless of how long it takes is greatly appreciated mate.
Well Lukaku has some nice fixtures & really like him BUT though it gets me Yaya then that wouldn’t bring in Aguero then for Adebayor ? … Some what defeating the object for me.
In all honesty, I think i’ll have to run with my original thoughts & stick with Silva & Aguero for -4pt hit this week & possibly get Zabaleta or Kolarov next week for the double gameweek for likes of Fonte somehow.

        • Andy says:

I think it’s crazy signing a player for 12 million who could still play twice before his next PL game just to save .2 in funds but if you feel you need him then go with it mate, good luck smile

        • Marky1boo says:

          Andy,
You don’t need to tell me because I have waited all season to make transfers after CL or Europa games etc BUT with the Aguero factor & double gameweek coming up, it seems that nearly everybody has thrown logic & common sense out the window & snapped him up once his protected status got lifted ? … Totally crazy & bloody idiots in my eyes !!
Though I think I may have to follow the idiots to get him before he rises tonight & throws my main keepers into question to get him.
Anyhow really appreciate your comments Andy & indeed will require some luck to keep Aguero healthy !! haha
All the best in your game week too mate.
