Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News: Anyone else bored of these international breaks just when the season is hotting up to it’s conclusion? Don’t worry, it was rhetorical, and anyway we’d assume a massive majority in favour of the answer “Yes!”. It’s full throttle ahead from here until the end though, and it should be fun as we have double game-weeks coming at us left right and centre. DGW34 was announced last week, although that one looks a bit damp given the teams involved. DGW37 should be a bonanza though with plenty to choose from. There will also be another mini DGW in either 35 or 36. This week is your standard fair with 10 games square and we begin with a Merseyside derby at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by six 3pm games with all of Spurs, Chelsea and Man United featuring. Saturday is concluded as it begun with another local derby which sees Southampton welcome Bournemouth. Sunday concludes our game-week with two games beginning with Swansea hosting Middlesbrough in a relegation scrap and then we have possibly the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Man City.

The Tracker in full…
DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.
Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

Guys who’s the best replacement for Mane? I was thinking maybe Sanchez but I’m not sure. How was he today?
He was shite.
He was gash
Having said that, Arsenal were pretty poor for me and weren’t at the races. Got a feeling theres something not quite right at the club. Mitro could possibly add more.
Cheers guys. Is it risky to go without him though?
Thing is Sanchez always struggles against the better teams, just like Arsenal. He’s a flat track bully !
Hey Mitro, if Barkley and Lukaku signed for Liverpool, our forward line would be :-
Mane, Firmino, Coutinho. :big-lol:
Lol
Gents
What should I do with this lots; your thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
3.8 ITB
Used your ft ?
Yes mate
Stick. But knowing you a -4 will be winging its way in very shortly.
If I was inclined to take a -4; what would be the best move?
Look at at Llorente hiding on the bench
If gabby is confirmed fit then I could shift llorente?
Mitro, I’d be more interested in Hazard or Costa personally. Or even Walcott
Will there be press conferences? Best replacement for Llorente? Cheap 3rd striker? Gabbiadini strikes me other is Caroll (West ham) but he doesn’t have any dgw! Will be getting rid of him for a hit. Got Ali for Mane!
Snookie, there will be pressers but I’ve been told not to write a midweek Around the Grounds so I’ll copy each team’s team news in the chat here.
Let me know when you find the perfect Llorente replacement!
If fit think will go with Gabbi! Not much choices in that bracket
Snookie, I think Gabbi is as good a shout as you’ll get, although Deeney has nice fixtures 3 out of the next 4.
Sorry for another ‘Mane replacement’ post, but I’d appreciate people’s thoughts if I may…
Liverpool’s fixtures are quite nice, so Coutinho is the obvious move.
Do I need United cover? If so, I can either straight swap Mane for Mkhi, or go for someone cheaper to allow for Ibra.
Was Palace (and Zaha) a complete fluke? Fixtures are tough, but a DGW on the horizon.
Based on this squad what would you be doing? I have nothing ITB.
Thanks very much.
Banjo, Fixtures wise you can’t look past Liverpool but how potent will they be without Mane & Lallana?
Who knows! Is Zaha too much of a punt? That’d leave me a nice pot to get Ibra and improve the defense.
Banjo, Mane to Coutinho also gives you the cash to get Ibra surely?
Kind of. It means I have to lose Costa rather than Lukaku.
Ah ok Banjo – i still think Coutinho is the best option to cover those fixtures.
How much more would you need to
lose Lukaku instead of Costa?
I’m 0.2 short of Mane & Lukaku to Coutinho & Ibra.
Banjo, I’m with Cookie on preferring Luka & Mane -> Cout & Ibra. Maybe Foster -> Valdez to make up the difference? Does that work?
Thanks Pancho. My sell value on foster is only 4.6, so Valdez doesn’t help raise funds.
Or make up funds by getting rid of Fletcher maybe
That could work actually smash. He’s unlikely to feature before the GW36 WC anyway.
Evening all.
Looking for a Llorente replacement – 1.9mln in the bank, 8.4mln to spend.
I have a few players on the watchlist, with Gabbo the favourite but fears he may not be back this week concern me.
Thoughts anyone please?
Gabbo is the obvious pick I think if he makes it. If Mane is out for a while Origi. I presume your not benching Alonso
Smash, well I think City score so who would you bench for him?
He always looks like getting attacking returns. I’d bench Brunt
If he’s fit then Gabbi’s probably best value. Benteke would be a massive punt, but perhaps worth considering.
Hey Cookie, I am looking for llorente replacement too. Personally I think Origi could be a good shout, Liverpool fixtures for the rest of the season are pretty decent. Just would need to watch lallana / mane situation. But could be a great cheap striker option.
Mane apparently said he was ‘fine’ which was surprisingly seeing as though he collapsed on the side of the pitch.
Oh really? So likely to be back quite soon then?
Hopefully Klopp will give is some insight in his presser
If Mane is fine I can’t see Origi playing. They will probably stick with Can
You could just bench him till Gabbi is back and play Yoshi or Alonso this gw ?
That’s probably a better idea
