Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News: Anyone else bored of these international breaks just when the season is hotting up to it’s conclusion? Don’t worry, it was rhetorical, and anyway we’d assume a massive majority in favour of the answer “Yes!”. It’s full throttle ahead from here until the end though, and it should be fun as we have double game-weeks coming at us left right and centre. DGW34 was announced last week, although that one looks a bit damp given the teams involved. DGW37 should be a bonanza though with plenty to choose from. There will also be another mini DGW in either 35 or 36. This week is your standard fair with 10 games square and we begin with a Merseyside derby at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by six 3pm games with all of Spurs, Chelsea and Man United featuring. Saturday is concluded as it begun with another local derby which sees Southampton welcome Bournemouth. Sunday concludes our game-week with two games beginning with Swansea hosting Middlesbrough in a relegation scrap and then we have possibly the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Man City.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

guys ive done stephens and sanchez for coleman and mane for -4 hit. Considering coutinho for siggy for a hit. Step too far? siggy has spurs next followed by 2 away fixtures.

      Mitro says:

Siggy has scored 24 points in last 3 home games

      • saloba11 says:

but they have spurs who dont conceed many. Do u not think coutinho is an upgrade considering his fixtures

        • Mitro says:

Just think siggy is more consistent than coutinho

        • inittowinit says:

There’s not a lot in it. Siggy has been involved in 19 out of Swansea’s 36 goals. Coutinho likewise in 14 of Pool’s 64. % of involvement is largely irrelevant I suppose but does show that when they score Siggy is involved more often than not, in Coutinho’s case that’s offset simply by the larger number of goals scored. Worth noting though that Siggy has played nearly every game and got 19 but Countinho has his 14 in 6 less games (he missed 7 on the bounce, minus the 1 extra Siggy is yet to play).

We’ve just discussed the 5 capo picks for this weeks games and Coutinho is in there. Siggy was dismissed because of the Spurs reason you stated.

        • Brookyboy says:

Its funny how quickly this game changes,we had all written Coutinho off this week after his last few performances and people were shipping him out for a hit then boom people are wanting him back….

        • saloba11 says:

Thanks for your input init. rather than focus on siggy i should probably look to sell lanzini but only real option available would be tadic as i only have 0.6m itb. I dont like the way my team is at the moment. i wasnt to sell costa lukaku deeney and lanzini in the coming weeks. Best starting off with deeney and lanzini. here is.my squad.

        • saloba11 says:

Really is brokkie. Ive went from thinking i had a really good side to now thinking i had a really poor attacking force.

        • Brookyboy says:

My advice would be to stick with what you have Saloba.Deeney will start midweek in my opinion.

        • inittowinit says:

Yeah Deeney only missed starting today because he’d been unwell last week.

One of those fixtures is West Ham who arent’t exactly watertight at the back…..

    Pancho says:

Origi seems like an enticing option if he replaces Mane. Thoughts?

      inittowinit says:

Pancho! How are you? I have a question for you as this has been bugging me since you said it about 5 months ago… This beard oil you mentioned. Is it worth it and what are the benefits of it?

      • Pancho says:

Innit, I’m doin well. Yourself? How’s the man-cave/garage been treating you? You been forced to sleep out there yet??? :winktongue:
Yes, the beard oil is totally worth it! Here’s an update picture on my mane…

        • inittowinit says:

Jeez! Nowhere near that grizzliness smile

Yeah it’s cool. In there now. Pretty much always in there actually!

So this oil? I was being serious, what’s it do / what’s it for? Does it keep it untangled?

        • inittowinit says:

          Cookie, Meram just scored… Sorry!

        • Brookyboy says:

Blimey you related to this guy Pancho ?? Local eccentric round our way…… !! Google Jake Mangle wurzel….. smile

        • RedVT says:

Damn Pancho, that’s a serious chin warmer! Love the Red Sox hat btw!! smile

        • Pancho says:

          Thanks all, I think… hahahah
Innit, it really does help keep it from getting tangled and keeps it generally softer. Also pulls in all the loose ones that’s have a mind of their own (I’m looking at you Mr. Wurzel)!!!
And Red, yes sir! Wife grew up her whole life in the northeast and I spent about 8 years out there too. My dad grew up in Chicago though, so this was a great year for us life-long Cubs fans!

        • RedVT says:

Nice Pancho, definitely a great year to be a Cubs fan!!! Really cool that you and your dad could see them win it. smile

Boston is a great city, we go there often as my brother lives there and my wife’s brother does too. I’ve seen Liverpool play at Fenway twice during their summer tours, hoping they come back again sometime soon!

        • inittowinit says:

Sounds like it’s what I’m needing Pancho, thank you!

      inittowinit says:

As for the question then I’d say he has to play really given that Lallana is out also.

    TheDreamers says:

Which position u prefer to be in

    1) mawson and 7 points
    2) Sterling, llorente and Siggy to play.

    KungFuKingCantona says:

Thanking the lads who told me to hold on taking a -4 to get rid of Coutinho. He made me proud today and now might actually become more important for Liverpool in the next couple of GWs especially without Mane. Now some tinkering and thinking of some Spurs coverage in Alli or Eriksen to replace Mane. Cheers people!

    inittowinit says:

Get in! This was an 80 point deficit not that long back. If only Mane had needed a stretcher or something requiring about 3 minutes more I’d be top smile
