Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News: Anyone else bored of these international breaks just when the season is hotting up to it’s conclusion? Don’t worry, it was rhetorical, and anyway we’d assume a massive majority in favour of the answer “Yes!”. It’s full throttle ahead from here until the end though, and it should be fun as we have double game-weeks coming at us left right and centre. DGW34 was announced last week, although that one looks a bit damp given the teams involved. DGW37 should be a bonanza though with plenty to choose from. There will also be another mini DGW in either 35 or 36. This week is your standard fair with 10 games square and we begin with a Merseyside derby at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by six 3pm games with all of Spurs, Chelsea and Man United featuring. Saturday is concluded as it begun with another local derby which sees Southampton welcome Bournemouth. Sunday concludes our game-week with two games beginning with Swansea hosting Middlesbrough in a relegation scrap and then we have possibly the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Man City.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

    Did mane to Alli last night, is there anything else I should be doing with this lot; I have 3.8 ITB

    • I’m pretty desperate to get rid of Llorente. See how he does today. Even if he bangs 3 in by some miracle he’s still going

      • Yep bringing him in has been a disaster! Who you looking at smash; Ibra?

        • Yeah really has. Think I’m doing Siggy and Llorente for Ibra and Zaha. Because Llorente went up by 0.1 I can now afford it.

          I haven’t seen any highlights from yesterday but I have been considering Zaha for the double.

  2. In 50 points with 3 to go! Siggy, Llorente and Aguero laugh Mane injured and out so should I go for other Pool midfielder or Ali? As I don’t have any Spurs cover though I won’t have Pool cover after :/ Ali is rising btw!

  3. Morning fellas only got about 29 points with 4 left to play. Need to replace Mane now though.

    I can think of 2 options
    1. Mane to Alli/Eriksen
    2. Mane and Snoddy to Couthino and Redmond/Tadic for a -4 hit.

    • Hi Matt,

      I think the -4 might work here. Getting a Saints player in makes longer term sense with the DGWs they’ll have and Snodgrass is taking his time settling at West Ham. I will be losing Snodgrass soon i think. Look again at him next season.

      I’m considering captaining Coutinho on Wednesday so he’d get my vote for you too.

      • Hey GP. How’s your weekend going? I prefer the -4 route as well to be honest and Couthino may have gotten a lot of confidence yesterday. He played brilliantly. Think he would be my captain too.

        • Would you go with Tadic or Redmond though?

        • I’m on 37 points with Sigurdsson (C), Llorente and Sterling to go.

          I would go for Tadic personally. I watched him last night – unlucky not to get any attacking returns.

        • Not bad. This noon game could either be a goal fest with both teams going for it or a drab 0-0 with both teams defending like mad.

          I’m leaning towards Tadic aswell to be honest. He’s on setpieces as well so should be more involved than Redmond.

  4. I presume you do not have funds for Mane to Sanchez? So Ali is be a good choice but Courtinho played well yesterday and Liverpool have a great list for the run in to the end ( could win all games!) Both Ali and Courtinho for me

    • Can’t afford Sanchez. The only way I can afford Alli and Couthino is by selling Siggy and Mane.

      • Matt – Siggy & Mane to Alli & Cout doesn’t sound like a risky move…
        Siggy has a good schedule ahead but Alli’s schedule and the potential title run in (read top3 fight) after Chelsea’s slip up – > sounds much better to my ears than Swansea’s relegation fight…

      Klopp himself said he would think he would be out of Wednesday’s game. I don’t think it’s long term though judging by his comments.

      • +1. Hey Silvers. Klopp did say it doesn’t look good though so I’d be thinking he’ll be out for atleast 2 weeks.
