Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News: Time to get excited folks. Come on now, who doesn’t love a midweek FPL game-week?! 10 games, 2 days, bish bash bosh. No messing about. No waiting for Friday’s early KO (yep, remember them? They’re coming back to a screen near you soon…) and then having it all drag on until Monday evening. Midweek FPL gets the job done like Joe Pesci in a bar room. We start with 4 games games on Tuesday with the main FPL highlights probably being Heaton attempting to single-handedly thwart Stoke, Vardy attempting to Party against Sunderland, Watford wondering how to stop McAuley and Ibra finally being unleashed once more. Wednesday brings a quick conclusion with the Wenger banners being readied, ‘Boro in ‘not scoring shocker’, Big Sam furthering his England manager claims, Spurs beating the crap out of Swansea, Chelsea putting the title to bed and then finises with a Liverpool midfielder posting a huge score against Bournemouth. The only question being which one…

As ever, post your comments and enjoy the games. Together.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

Hi guys. Was wondering which one of Snoddy or King to ship out to bring in Zaha for the DGW? 1FT £0.2 ITB.

Westham has SWA(H) and SUN (A) while Bournemouth has CHE(H) and TOT(A). At first I was thinking Snoddy out but his next 2 fixtures are much better than King’s but King is on penalties. What would you all do? Team linked.

    Hey Guys,

My team feels a bit off at the moment. Any suggestions?

    Courtois, Pickford
    Baines, Valencia, Brunt, Smith, Amat
    Coutinho, Sanchez, Siggy, Son, Carroll
    Aguero, Lukaku, Benteke
    Bank 1.1

Still have a WC to play sometime smile but just not sure what is the best team at the moment.

Comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hey L, I’d be thrilled with that team right now! Some in form attackers, solid D and good value. Question for many will be who to ship out for Ibra, so Aguero is the obvious candidate for you. And maybe a Boro defender (Gibson) for their double?

Ok lads is Sanchez a must at all costs? Current squad Heaton Pickford Cahill Vert Smith McAuley Stephens Zaha Sterling Siggy Coutinho Snoddy Kun Llorente Vardy. On 24 from 3 so far. Have 1 ft and 3.3itb. To get Sanchez I could do Llorente/Negredo and Coutinho/Sanchez leaving .1itb. Or I could ignore Sanchez for a more balancd midfield and do Llorente/Negredo or Gabbi Snoddy/Eriksen Sterling/Wally and Vardy/Lukaku. Kun has good run of fixtures but could become Costa/Ibra/Kane if required. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Sanchez will have two DGW’s compared to most other players one DGW so you’ll more than likely want him back into your squad before the season’s over at some stage, how about Sterling/Llorente to Sanchez/Gestede, and you could potentially flip between the 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 formations.

Bertrand hasn’t made the Saints squad never mind line up (Not sure what’s going on there), Son returns to the starting line up for Spurs and Boro look to have shifted to two up top (they’d better start scoring) is what I’m seeing from the line ups tonight.

Just great! No Bertrand so I have Amat who never plays coming off the bench. Did I mention that I don’t like GW in middle of the week

They’ve thrown up some funny line ups when they’ve come around I know that much, I’m not looking forward to selecting all the DGW players as you know at least one or two will likely be benched for one of the matches, I’ve already been burnt with Sterling for the Citeh one.
