Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News: Time to get excited folks. Come on now, who doesn’t love a midweek FPL game-week?! 10 games, 2 days, bish bash bosh. No messing about. No waiting for Friday’s early KO (yep, remember them? They’re coming back to a screen near you soon…) and then having it all drag on until Monday evening. Midweek FPL gets the job done like Joe Pesci in a bar room. We start with 4 games games on Tuesday with the main FPL highlights probably being Heaton attempting to single-handedly thwart Stoke, Vardy attempting to Party against Sunderland, Watford wondering how to stop McAuley and Ibra finally being unleashed once more. Wednesday brings a quick conclusion with the Wenger banners being readied, ‘Boro in ‘not scoring shocker’, Big Sam furthering his England manager claims, Spurs beating the crap out of Swansea, Chelsea putting the title to bed and then finises with a Liverpool midfielder posting a huge score against Bournemouth. The only question being which one…

As ever, post your comments and enjoy the games. Together.

FT Diff

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

Gameweek is far from over though your closest rival only got 9 points which probably means he has a lot of players to go.

      • DMC says:

So does init Waxys, as per his earlier comment.

        • Waxys says:

Yeah but anything could happen is my point best to save satisfaction or dissatisfaction with results after the main darbies conclude.

        • Waxys says:

Not stupid in the slightest. He has 1 more player playing and his captain to play a gameweek.
I could have the shittest gameweek week but if my captain puts in 4 goals in 1 match that’s already 48 points from one player Shifting the balance.

        • inittowinit says:

Yeah, get all that. I think you misunderstood the phrase ‘I make no apologies for such posts’.

          I’ll rephrase it –

I make no apologies for such posts.

        • Waxys says:

Nothing negative here Cookie I’m all for celebrating success when all is final. Just saying that anything can happen in EPL the ladder changes very quickly.

        • Waxys says:

No I understood your comment and I don’t think there’s alright or wrong answer here i am just for celebrating when things are done and dusted which is why Im not one for sharing rank or anything. but of course I will disagree that it was a stupid comment.

If only one match was played and I came here celebrating that I got the highest game week rank in the world would I not get some flak for posting that?

        • Waxys says:

I guess you’re right I wouldn’t expect any congrats comments for posting something like that just but if that’s the norm here then I apologise for my comment it’s not in line with the community values here.

      Go on Init!

      Only positive thoughts here mate.

Knew you would do it.

Ditto! Although glad I’m not in your league, as I’d only be 8th 😉 Here’s to staying put for the remainder now. Good luck.

      HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

Keep the momentum going, mate !!
      Whoop whoop 😉 !!

      • inittowinit says:

Shhhh! Have you not heard? It’s not acceptable to celebrate chasing down a 100 point deficit and finally going top after months of doing so. Much better to be embarrassed about your team, not link it, never mention rank, never mention a ML and evade all questions pertaining to the above. Must be a hellishly miserable way to play it with no goals but whatever 😉

        • HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

          I have overturned a cca 100pts deficit myself…
This is what born winners do, isn’t it 😉 ?!
I’m with all the way, mate !!

I’m waiting for Cpt Coutinho to make me proud tonight and I ll do the same (link my team + add the screenshot and brag about it)…

          Go Phil !!
          :bouncy-balls:

        • inittowinit says:

My rival has him as capo so yeah best of luck…. smile

        • Smash10 says:

Congrats on closing the gap that’s what it’s all about really. It’s all about making 5 transfers every week and saying how your not happy about your team and then celebrating when one of those moves pays off and telling everyone on here that you called it lol

        • HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

          @Init – I sense a bit of irony in those words 😉 …
p.s. Ashley lost me 10pts yesterday…need Phil to step in big time tonight…sorry :/

@Smash – Ashley lost me 10pts yesterday with his kamikaze save…
On the other hand – > won some small money bet while betting that Utd won’t win…
          So, does it count ?
Can I brag about it smile ?

        • Leprechaun says:

          Hey Init,
I have 5pts from 3 players and a -4. Not sure I want to brag thoughsmile

But I am also top of the ML for now so I support you feeling good about that smile

Brilliant! I nearly spat my coffee out when I heard this on the radio. He’s now called him thick! Thick and fat in one week….

I think Jose holds a grudge. This is personal harking back to him rejecting Chelsea for United.

He has pushed this too far though.

      • Waxys says:

To keep things private. He’s been publicly calling out staff and players for a very long time.

      Kop Warrior says:

There’s no denying Jose’s record and he is a great manager but he’s got no class. Fergie clearly had his run ins with players over the years but it was done in private.

      • DMC says:

In deed Kop. And what somewhat amazes me is that Jose used to behave like that too. He always got on with the media so that they would focus on him and leave the players “pressure free”. He had their back. But since last year with Chelsea he started to expose his players publicly and is doing the same at Utd. He always leaves Old Trafford with that looks like he’s ashamed of his players. Can«t really decifrate what’s going on in his mind right now, but it aint good.

    Waxys says:

Ah so that’s Wyne Rooney’s new role at United it all makes sense now
