Midweek FPL gets the job done like Joe Pesci in a bar room. We start with 4 games games on Tuesday with the main FPL highlights probably being Heaton attempting to single-handedly thwart Stoke, Vardy attempting to Party against Sunderland, Watford wondering how to stop McAuley and Ibra finally being unleashed once more. Wednesday brings a quick conclusion with the Wenger banners being readied, ‘Boro in ‘not scoring shocker’, Big Sam furthering his England manager claims, Spurs beating the crap out of Swansea, Chelsea putting the title to bed and then finises with a Liverpool midfielder posting a huge score against Bournemouth. The only question being which one…

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

I could have the shittest gameweek week but if my captain puts in 4 goals in 1 match that’s already 48 points from one player Shifting the balance.

Init and Banjo have played this game long enough to know things could change tonight – but for now they are top – Init, after weeks of changing – sure that would feel good.

Initt..Yes mate..In India, English is not our primary language. We have hundreds of native dialects and vernaculars here. but we were colony of English empire for about 200 years. So, we have English in our syllabus since class-1. So, we need to be proficient in both written and spoken English.. Anyways typos can always take place when writing lengthy statements. I was torn between Sanchez and Vardy cappo. Up until 78 mins I was convinced I’d picked a blank again. That said, I’ll be well behind a Sanchez hatty tonight, as he’s a differential for me.

It’s tough for me to separate looking at Ibra as a United fan and from a FPL point of view. But i’ll try! Last night he did what he has done for much of the season, basically f*** all and then pops up with a last minute goal. Apparently he had a goal ruled out that could of been offside, could of been onside, whatever.
So he has delivered for his owners and with the DGW coming up then it would appear to be a no-brainer to get him. BUT……
If Jose does what he says then he will rotate and rest with the Top 4 seemingly out of reach…..in which case I would question getting Ibra.
Now onto Lukaku…..many sold him in front of the derby with their eye on Vardy (home to Stoke & Sunderland) and they have been proved right to do so. Coleman’s absence seems to have affected Everton, but is it fair to judge them so harshly after 2 away games at Liverpool & United, two grounds where they rarely get anything anyway.
It’s Leicester, Burnley and West Ham now for Lukaku….not that bad…..
I’m going to throw another name at you……Aguero. Watch him tonight and see what you think. he’s scored in 3 of his last 4, home to Hull next , doesn’t have a DGW34 (but then so might not Ibra!!) but does have a DGW37 home to Leicester & WBA, both of whom will have nothing to play for by then.
Bottom line Rosco, I’m not quite sure where I’m going with Lukaku, but if Kun impresses tonight then I may well be swayed to the Blue half of Manc rather than the Red.

I watched United for the first time in some time last night. I was surprised just how slow to move and press they were at times in the game. Highlighted this morning with Koeman himself saying he prefers the time on the ball you get against United these days.
It’s been like that for a few seasons now GP, it’s like LVG ingrained something within them that they can’t shake off – which is absurd because Pogba, Ibra & Mikhi have all come in and Rashford is new enough to be unaffected by LVG.
I actually think one big prob is Ibra, he is so slow that they have to slow down the play to involve him – if he went to LA it truly wouldn’t bother me as hopefully we’d buy a world class replacement who maybe a few years younger than Ibra!

I already have Aguero for those very reasons you mention and see him as a good cappo shout this weekend! I’m just trying to think of what moves would most benefit me and of course with an eye on 34 so that’s why I was thinking Ibra. Alternatively I’m not too happy with Snoddy so could turn him into Zaha ( with 34 in mind) or Pedro or similar. I’ve got my WC which I’ll keep for the big DGW so it’s all about what moves I can do each week till then to get the most points ( obviously!!)

There’s no denying Jose’s record and he is a great manager but he’s got no class. Fergie clearly had his run ins with players over the years but it was done in private.
In deed Kop. And what somewhat amazes me is that Jose used to behave like that too. He always got on with the media so that they would focus on him and leave the players “pressure free”. He had their back. But since last year with Chelsea he started to expose his players publicly and is doing the same at Utd. He always leaves Old Trafford with that looks like he’s ashamed of his players. Can«t really decifrate what’s going on in his mind right now, but it aint good.

Ranking wise my aim was to be in the top 50K this season, but if i can keep on track and finish in the top 20k or dare i even say 10k that would be great.
Ive been with the 3-5-2 formation for a long time now, my reasoning was that midfielder goals were worth more points than strikers goals, seems to have worked out okay this season.
My only advice would be never count on Liverpool to do anything when you need them to 😉
