Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 FPL News: After a sensational Alvaro Negredo display in DGW 34, we head into a buffer of sorts. With doubles in 34, 36 and 37, this GW we can relax a little, sort of. We kick it off with four 3pm fixtures. It is pure excitement when the low scoring Saints tangle with a difficult opponent to not score on, Hull. It should be a test of wills to see who underperforms more, the Saints attack or the Hull defence. If you think that doesn’t offer enough to make you fall asleep, perhaps a taste of Stoke vs West Ham? Over the last 10 matches these two are 16th in 17th in points and have scored 20 goals combined over those 10×2 games. Yeah, a goal a game. So snooze should be on the loose in this one. For those that don’t need a mid afternoon nap, I present to you Sunderland vs Bournemouth. This could provide us with comedy gold, in particular on defence, as neither team attempts to play any. The last of the opening 4 fixtures sees West Brom welcome in Leicester, yeah, moving on. In the 5:30 game Palace hosts those away stars, Burnley. With 3 draws in their last 6 away games, think we can say they are in-form, perhaps I will place a bet on them.
Luckily after enduring a Saturday of not having any real footy to watch and feeling properly rested, we come to Sunday. Yes, yes, yes, yes…sorry was watching when Harry met Sally orga, errrr, restaurant scene. Where were we at? Oh yes, Sunday footy. Lunch time sees the battle for fourth resume, as United tangles with a Swansea side who also has a lot to play for. Both teams in need of a win, will hopefully lead to some goals, maybe, Jose is capable of sucking the fun out of any game, so be aware. That is followed by two 2pm-ish encounters. Boro and their vaunted attack will look to score some goals, well, a goal vs City. City’s fans (player’s families) will want to get out of that red velvet sandwich they are currently caught in with LFC one point ahead and United one point behind tickling their tuckus. We also see Lukaku’s former and future employer Chesea visit Goodison looking to inch closer to the title. CFC has slowly let Spurs crawl back into the race, so they can break their hearts again at the end. In the last Sunday fixture we have the possibility of pure joy. We see the possibility of killing 2 dreams with one stone. When Spurs face Arsenal only one result would do us right. A loss for Tottenham would all but end Spurs title dreams to their bitter rivals and hopefully such a result would lead to a new contract for Wenger. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Monday finishes off the GW with Watford hosting Liverpool. Should be a very predictable game. If City and United win expect LFC to do also, If either of the Manchester sides drop points expect LFC to. If there is one thing we know is that if LFC is given an opportunity, they let it slip away.
Please join us as ever to discuss the games as they happen and share your feelings, successes and woes as the action unfolds and hopefully the FPL points flood in for you.

Spurs playing well. Should be 2-0 already
Arsenal very open on Ozils side
Both massive opportunities though
If it weren’t for Swansea’s goal then today would’ve been brilliant for me.
I have Sanchez / Alli / Kane all playing now but, in all honesty, this match isn’t about points for me. I need a different kind of miracle in this one!
What are people’s thoughts on Costa for the DGW after today? Good fixtures but relatively uninvolved.
I’m thinking I’ll pass on Costa. Vardy maybe? Or may even look at someone like Defoe ( Less likely). With the pressure off, they may do better.
Vardy is tempting me but what do Leicester have to play for now?
Defoe hasn’t scored enough in 2017 for me.
Nothing to play for but pride. They are that sort of team though. He has 9 in 13 games I think.
The saving of 0.5m over Costa is a big swayer. It should’ve been 0.4m but I missed his price rise last night…
Who would you rather have out of Remond (at 5.9m) and King (whose SV is 6.0m) for the rest of the season? Redmond has 2 more games but King’s on fire. I could really do with an extra 0.1m but Redmond’s fixtures aren’t as good either.
King all day. I’m on a bad run though so my advice shud come with a health warning.
My head agrees with you. It’s just my gut wanting to chase those DGWs hard!
King, by a mile, now that Afobe is gone too.
James,
I know what you mean about Swansea. Valencia again lets me, and you, down.
Playing for Chelsea it is always possible that Costa pops up with some points. I just bought him for the price rises but not sure about keeping him.
Valencia *and* de Gea… ah well. We’ll live!
Well done for spotting his potential rise last night. I didn’t consider him until today unfortunately. I’ll probably just go with Vardy and use that extra cash elsewhere.
Sighs. Arsenal doesn’t look close to scoring. My only differential left, Alexis. Set to fail me another gameweek.
I’m looking for them to score to get rid of spurs cs. Alli goal wudnt go amiss either.
I actually don’t care about the scores anymore or my main ranking. It’s the guy from my mini-league that seems to have literally everything in the world, going his way.
Now he has Gabriel, Eriksen and Alli playing. I only have Alli and Sanchez. My bet is that Eriksen will score after Gabriel has been subbed out in the 61st minute. Hehe. :p
Literally everything has been going against me and going his way.
On that note, Arsenal are pretty bad. Keeping a manager that will leave at the end of the season so no way to pump this boys up, or motivate them. Than you have Alexis, your best player, also wanting to leave. Not much left of Arsenal.
Spurs are way more consistent and actually could win the title next season, if other teams are as inconsistent as they are now.
I have Sanchez, Davies, Alli and Son playing. The way my GW is going I’d settle for a Davies CS
“Guardiola says Aguero is injured, doesn’t know extent but sounds like he’ll miss at least a game.
Thinks’ Bravo out for season”
Boom !!
Everyone on the Jesus train
Not confirmed yet 100% …
But anyway it does not look good ahead of the DGW…
Jesus and his Willy confirmed.
How many kun owners are transferring him out for Jesus tonight then ?
He left mine last night. I thought Jesus was rising! Aguero’s injury merely adds confidence.
Is Aguero injured? I thought he played the full 90
He came off right at the death, according to Pep it looks like at least a game but no doubt we’ll get a better update through the week.
Anyone have a good link for the Spurs Arsenal game? Not at home now and I really want to see the game. I have my laptop with me and WIFI. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????????
Aah frag that, seems like I am just talking to myself again. No link given but in the same time Spuds scored twice and Sanchez did excactly zero. I am calling the suicide hotline instead. Have a nice weekend all. Ciao.
