Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 FPL News: Welcome to the double before the DOUBLE! Don’t let the appetizer feel fool you though, this small DGW will be just as vital when it is all said and done in fpl. For those of you who like to drown in misery for more time than you really should, do we have a treat for you. This game-week starts on a Friday and ends the following Wednesday, so plenty of time to second guess yourself while the actual GW drags on and on. The Hammers and Spurs kick it all off with an 8pm fixture. West Ham has won once in their last 10, Tottenham has lost once in their last 10. Hmmmm, I wonder how this is going to go?
On Saturday we get it rolling with a lunch time affair between City and Palace. City needs to win by at least 2 goals to take over third place and Palace with a win 99.9% secures the top flight for next season. 3pm brings us four fixtures. Cherry power tangles with on vacation Stoke, The Clarets play a round of golf with The Baggies, Hull plays the new biggest game ever vs nobody, nobody at all, although some people call them Sunderland. The Foxes and Watford round out the three o’clock games, both teams all but secure their spot in the top league with 1 point, I know what South Americans would do. The last of the Saturday squabbles end with in-need Swansea hosting Everton.
Sunday brings us only two fixtures, but both should be a lot of fun. Liverpool is so close yet so far away to securing a top 4 spot, all they have to do is beat their B team, Southampton. How hard can this be? Really? Just threaten to stop buying their players, job done. In the late game, we see Arsenal and United battle to the death…on twitter and not the players, their fans. Who was better, who was what in the early 2000s. FA cup matters more than the Europa, Europa hands out a Champions League spot, you paid x amount for Pogdab, you still have Wenger, blah blah blah. Meanwhile on the field, United will field whoever is brave enough and Arsenal will play a bunch of overpaid (yeah, even at Arsenal that happens) crybabies who would rather be somewhere else.
Monday brings with it one fixture. Chelsea will inch closer to the title and all but finish relegating Middlesbrough when these two face-off at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully Diego scores one or two before he heads off to China to get even older and live in luxury as he so deserves. Turning on Brazil, asking players from an opposing team to let his team (Rayo Vallecano vs Granada) score and stamping on people rewarded with millions.
Wednesday sees the end of this mini double. As Saints welcome in Arsenal for each of those teams second affair of the GW. Frankly who knows what we will see here. Southampton is just playing out the string and by the time The Gunners arrive at St. Mary’s stadium for all intents and purposes they could be also.

Forster saves penalty
With Yoshida and Stephens, I really dont see why people would pay 5m+ for Forster. Doubt many have him.
Gabbiadini gone..great shit
He was no good anyways..
Gabbi out. This is why I don’t haave Gabbi after last week. Hehe.
At least he got 60 minutes this GW.
Just wish i could reverse that decision now. I shouldn’t have fallen for his initial false form. Anyways don’t have any other option now. Hope he gets a start in the nwxt game too and blanks as i have Kosch and Monreal both
No Gabriel, no Mustafi and yes Holding….
No Rash, Pogba, Bally, Blind…
Cheers DMC, looks like Gabriel’s the fall guy for last weeks result against the Spuds, very surprised to not see him with Arsenal looking like they’ll play with the back three again.
Kind of hope he don’t play at all now. I have Stephens first on the bench
Anfield game not over yet
Umm Smash, I am sure he will play the next game if not this one.
Yeah knowing my luck
That’s rough but I’d have done the same thing, DGW or not I wouldn’t have gone with the double Saints.
It is rough but the Gabriel not starting both games thing was hanging in the air. Main reason why I picked Cech.
This was an absolute waste of 90 mins of my life
Soton manage to be even more boring at home.
I now hope they remain bore and don’t score against Arsenal in the next game.
Well fair play to those who went double saints at the back. They weren’t expecting anything different from that.
Can’t imagine many actually did?!
Well maybe not for this dgw36 but I saw many a WC team with the Yoshens!
I’ll wait for the penny to drop on that one… 😉
Ahem
Pennies dropping.
😉
