Live Match Chat Gameweek 9 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 9 FPL News: Bournemouth hosting Spurs gets the game-week going for us, one would expect The Cherries to be done scoring for the season after dropping six on Hull last week That lunch time fixture is followed by six more at 3pm. The Gunners collect 3 points vs Boro, Burnley looks to pad Heaton’s save stats when they face Everton, Hull continues to pretend to be an EPL team when they face Stoke. In other action we see the EPL uncaring Foxes vs Palace, relegation bound Swansea bend over for Watford and West Ham continue climbing the table when they face Sunderland. In Saturday’s closing fixture, Liverpool will tangle with a more offensively inclined side in West Brom than the United side they played last GW.
Sunday sees two games to finish off the game-week. City look to practice their penalties vs Southampton and Chelsea tangle with United in what promises to be a bore fest, when Conte and Mourinho play a defensive chess game and protect their keepers like he is literally the King.

#THFC team: Lloris (C); Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Wanyama, Dembele; Lamela, Eriksen, Dele; Son. #COYS
Son playing as a striker.
Lineup – Bournemouth starting line-up: Artur Boruc, Adam Smith, Charlie Daniels, Harry Arter, Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Joshua King, Andrew Surman, Callum Wilson, Jack Wilshere, Jordon Ibe.
Substitutes: Nathan Aké, Max Gradel, Ryan Fraser, Adam Federici, Tyrone Mings, Benik Afobe, Dan Gosling
And good luck all.
Ps. I messed up with my team. I wanted to play Smith over Amat but I think I have Amat starting and Smith first on bench. HAHA! Seriously, idiot mistake.
I actually think that’s the better option mate, a happy accident!
I don’t know man, not a big fan of Swansea or their defense. At least Smith has some attacking potential. To put in stats, Amat got some points assist/goal/cs 1 time out of 8 games, Smith 5 times out of 8 games.
Yeah I know what you mean but surely Swansea can’t be shit all season!
Yeah, they have shown some improvement. Plus, they had the hardest fixtures at the start of the season out of all the teams. I think they pretty much had the entire top 5.
I’d like to see Bob Bradley do well and Swansea to start winning some matches. It would be nice to have the option of actually playing Amat for good fixtures and have Siggy as another mid price midfield option. Amat is close to a rise as well, if they can get something today that should push him up to 4.2.
I toyed with bringing in Stanislas.. glad I didn’t!
What happened to Stani?
I don’t know, but it’s funny. :p
I think he was already flagged the entire week? Still people bought him like crazy.
Ben Dinnery confirmed it’s a calf injury. He was transfered in pretty heavy this week too, there will be some disappointed people with that one.
Don’t think he was flagged all week Raz otherwise the Tips writer is needing sacked.
😉
He got the calf injury in warmups I think
Best of luck all
Thanks
Who you capo Init?
Cookie, I assume you’ve gone with Arnie?
Sanchez
Kop, last week’s solitary assist has dampened my confidence in him!
Not sure if here’s a bug or I find the system faced lag but my captain’s Walcott instead of Sanchez…
Hoping it’s a blessing in disguise!
If you did that one last week, it would be. HAHAHA! ;p
Doubt it affects anyone but just heard Gosling is in for Surman who got ill during the warm-up.
Probably affect Bournemouth Red !
Haha, touché GP!
