Commiserations for anyone that bought Rooney, Mata or frankly anyone from United for a hit this GW.

I bought Evra and all he did was block Sagna’s points from the bench.

      Whoops, that was to James…

      • jamesimmo says:

Haha cheers, nice one, Mannone did us proud!

        • theswirly says:

Mannone and Alonso for me! Who’d have thought it, especially with Alonso!

        • milothesuperdog says:

Indeed. 13 points is brilliant! Tell you what, today just about saved my GW. Should end up with 80+

        • theswirly says:

Me too, Milo. Funnily enough, Rooney not playing yesterday actually worked out well for me as I had 12 points on the bench in total – all of which will come in to my team, with Azpilicueta and Ramsey also playing zero minutes between them!

Please welcome to the final results for GW 37 with bonus points, autosubs, and vice-captains. I assume the following bonus points: Dzeko(3), Zabaleta(2), Yaya Toure(1); Alonso(3), Borini(2), Brown(2).

Expected overall average is 62-63 points (+20.4 points today): 14.1 points scored in the games today, 5.5 points coming off the bench, 0.8 points for vice-captains.

Average score in the top 10K is 75.3 (-4.4) points (+31.1 points today): 26.2 points scored in the games today, 4.2 points coming off the bench, 0.7 points for vice-captains.

    Hi folks,

What do you reckon to Aguero and Rooney > Dzeko and Sturridge, for a four-point hit?

Would mean my team would shape up as:

    Mannone
    Alonso, Azpilicueta, Sagna
    Yaya Toure, Ramsey, Eriksen, Mata
    Dzeko, Suarez, Sturridge

    Subs: Ruddy, Sissoko, Ward, Olsson

Not keen on taking hits (after this GW’s awful transfers*), but can’t see any other way to field a decent team!

    Cheers, guys!

    * – Gerrard > Mata, Lallana > Mata and Lukaku to Rooney being my personal favourites

Any word on Rooney, Kun, Ramsey, Chester. Noone I know. Ouch, 5 injured players. >.<

Which one should I ship out? Thinking Rooney and Kun. Or might one of them make it this weekend?

      inittowinit says:

Raz, Rooney and Kun could. Ramsey should. I’d be surprised if Chester does.

      • Raziel says:

So probably wait with transfer till late friday? Hope they have news before the weekend. On that note, treble United coverage isn’t doing me any help, that’s for sure. >.<

        • Raziel says:

Though it probably be the last game for Evra (so he’ll play, I hope, I heard he was in France?), I think Mata will play (since he made no minutes last game). Rooney is the only doubt I guess.

They might play is not t he same as them playing, it’s kind of a big risk with the worldcup ahead. SIghs. So many.

By the way, I noticed that in some miracle way I beat you with H2H. Actually never figured I could after yesterday (you having Wick/Aj me having Mannone/Vlaar).

        • inittowinit says:

I noticed Raz well done mate! That said, I rarely win a H2H game!

Yep, wait until Friday at least – we are expecting press conferences on Friday as normal despite the extra days delay in games. No idea on Evra playing but yes he was in France I believe. Kun and Rooney will be touch and go. Kun will probably make the bench. Mata should play as you say.

        • Raziel says:

Tnx Innit. Yeah seems you have some sort of H2H curse. It doesn’t effect your scoring and point total in the game though. Does show this game is all about luck. Anyway, off for bed. Goodnight. Oyas.

Lads, just a heads up, we can wait til Sunday morning for any team news before we make our transfers! Which is convenient and rather nice of FPL

Not sure its better. Some of us may be having one to many  saturday night and a few too many hits may occur! laugh

      • theswirly says:

Not letting that happen to me for a second GW in a row!

      • jamesimmo says:

        Are the hits not needed KungFu? I haven’t made a -8 ever…

…that may change! So, erm, drink away! cheers! laugh

        • Hits surely needed but am afraid of exagerating. If Rooney and Kun are not passed fit I will have too much cash ITB and may wanna improve other positions hence more hits. Anywhoo….It will be a surprise Sunday morning while waking up laugh

        • jamesimmo says:

Haha! I’m sure you’ll do yourself proud 😉 it’s frustrating having over 3m in the bank from last week’s moves, as now I’ll feel obliged to somehow spend it… which is difficult when (most likely) selling Agüero!

        • Word! I got also 5,1 ITB left over and selling Aguero….probs to Dzeko. Which may leave me with 10,3 ITB….lol. Might upgrade a bench warmer just for fun. Chester out and Baines in and not even play him.
You thinking of Dzeko as well or?

        • jamesimmo says:

Haha 10m is crazy! Yeah I’m thinking Wickham + Agüero —–> Dzeko and Sturridge as they both have great home fixtures…

Will monitor Agüero / Distin / Ramsey first though!

        • Yeah Porridge is on my radar too instead of Rooney!
What a weird empty feeling once we press confirm on the last transfers before august!!!! Good the WC will occupy us a little….
