Okay. Could really use some more perspectives on my team.

Incredibly I’m 369 in the overall rankings, so don’t want any big risks..

    Mannone Boruc

    Coleman Bennett Sagna. Baines Whittaker

    AJ Eriksen Hazard Yaya Oviedo

    Suárez Agüero Sturridge

    Aguero -> djecko
    Aguero -> neg
    Something else?

1 FT (though, you know me, a hit would be considered…)
    £1m in the bank.

    Thanks!!

    J.

      Nice ranking James. smile

Aguero has stated that he was taken off as a precaution, there is little chance that he might start at the weekend, but there is still some chance.

Wait for later today since they assessing Aguero
He said on twitter that he felt something and took himself off as a precaution.
Sounds hopeful, im fine benching him for 1 GW instead of losing the profit and paying a lot to get him back

      Anti Top Four says:

Well done James101! Hat’s off to you, mate! My first thoughts, in no specific order, are:

      – Giroud (one game punt) and then consider Man C cover: Dzecko / Negredo / Kun
      – RVP (great differential and fixtures if you can afford)
      – Ade (decent fixtures and should rebound from getting getting spanked)
      – Bony (decent fixtures and may allow funds for Mata)

      Best wishes

      Thanks gents.

      (And especially you cookie!!)

Yeah, I’ll hold off a bit on the transfer first. See how long he’s out…

Very well done sir, you should be very proud. Be bold – don’t worry about not losing ground.

Hold off for good news on Aguero and Coleman and if Aguero is only out for 1-2 weeks, I’d bench him and replace Oviedo and go 3-5-2.

      • James101 says:

        Cheers Gallant. Tricky one.

I have Blue in the Shield this GW, so will need an excellent score to triumph.

        • james

Listen to nothing I say. I am bottom of the Championship and six points from safety. Just can’t win a game just now so Shield participation is a dot on the horizon for me.

          There’s always next season . . . ;-(

If Aguero is out – go Rooney. (Remember, listen to NOTHING I say).

    photek says:

    hi guys n gals,
hit a nice 77 with 10 men (and a -4pt hit), pretty happy with that.
got a problem with my defense this week and looks like i might be down to 10 again this gw or take another 4pt hit

    currently have:
    mannonne
    coleman ward williamson parr chester
    1ft 0 money

chester needs to go, parr and ward go away to arsenal and coleman still injured.
I’m looking at chambers with limited budget for chester

    • 134.1
      The B says:

Chambers competes with Clyne, and there is always a doubt regarding who will start. So stay away from both.

Williams from Swansea is a good option.

I’m dealing with the same problem ahead of this week. I have Azpi Coleman Parr Chester and Shaw. I’ve a feeling Parr will be back sooner as later so Chester out for R Bennett is my move. Did consider Bruce at Hull but Bennett seems to have earned a guaranteed spot whereas Bruce was subbed off on Tuesday night.

Norwich have decent fixtures (apart from City next weekend) until the last four games of the season.

      Thanks guys
I did worry about the chambers / clyne thing, who plays, who doesn’t.
i also had a look at bennett this morning, not overly confident in norwich defense atm but needs must.
shaw would be a good addition if i had the funds as he is playing further up field (much like ward) i think both got fielded in midfield this week.
swansea are starting to a good option but i need more money B

    Shep says:

    Hi Gents,

So 83 points for me, team is:
    Boruc,
    Sagna, Dawson, R Bennett
    Noone, Silva, Hazard, Mata
    Sturridge, Aguero, Suarez C
    Subs: Mannone, Ward, Ramsey, Chester
0.0M in the bank and 1FT

So I will be taking a 4 point hit (looking at Ramsey and Chester out for Eriksen and McNaughton)

But waiting to see about Aguero, depending can be Ramsey and Aguero out for… Negredo and Carzola maybe?

So taking a 4 point hit, just depends on Aguero news if its Ramsey and Aguero out or Ramsey and Chester

      as93 says:

Hi Shep. I’d take a look at Dzeko if Agueros injury is bad. He’s likely to start and showing a bit of form. He’s really cheap considering and it could allow you to get Dzeko & Cazorla maybe?

      • Shep says:

        AS93

I can do that, but feel Negredo will be better than Dzeko, I rate Dzeko and Jovetic will swap with eachother
Think Negredo didnt come on since his played a lot lately and Jovetic hasnt

    • 135.2
      daboyo says:

is Negredo a sure thing vs Chelsea?…..I wonder is Dzeko a better shout….

Im the same – Ramsey is def going…..im looking at 6.6mil and under as replacements at the moment, but like yourself, if Aguero is out for more than a week or two I might do Ramsey & Aguero for Dzeko/Negredo & Eriksen

      • Shep says:

        Daboyo

Rooney might also be an option hey…

Too many decisions, I just hope Aguero is just rested this GW and back the follwing

Just need to wait and see…

    • 135.3

      Shep

On City, I worry with Jovetic notching one last night that he will no see more gametime. Together with the Champions League, FA Cup and LC final coming up, if Aguero is out for a bit, then the three others will probably be rotated game to game. If Aguero is out for a period, I think I’ll go for Rooney again. I also have Mata currently.

Eriksen looks a great but just now, glad to say I have him.

      • Shep says:

        Gallant

The thing is I like having Silva and Aguero/Negredo since City score for fun.
Rooney might be an interesting option though with him I can get Eriksen or Lallana and boost my defense later
Else Negredo opens up 9.5M for a mid… Carzola? Oscar? Gerrard? Lallana? Eriksen? too many options haha
Had Negredo when Aguero was last injured and he did well for me

  4. 136
    daboyo says:

    Morning All

I really rode my luck this week – got 82 points to get me inside 8k overall for the first tim…..and even a CS from Collins last night vs Chelsea…..im crippled with injuries though and a first points hit of the season is on the cards….

My Squad with 1FT and 0 in the Bank
    Mannone/Boruc
    Sagna/Coleman/Bruce/Collins/Parr/Bruce
    Silva/Hazard/Lallana/Coldback/Ramsey
    Suarez/Sturridge/Aguero…

I’ll wait to hear how long Aguero is out for but Ramsey has to go…..6.6mil ill have then to spend and im looking at the following:
    Nolan – nice fixtures – 6.5
    Barkley – Nice fixtures – 5.1
    Osman – good fixtures/lukaku injured and 6.2
    Wittingham – 5.3, good fixtures, placed balls….

    What do people think…..

    • 136.1

6.6 sounds like Adam Johnson to me. Hasn’t got the easiest fixtures but he keeps on scoring

      • Just noticed he’s 6.7. Can you scrape together a few extra quid?

        • daboyo says:

cheers Andy – im looking long term…and after the next two weeks I think Johnson will struggle for points….had this transfer been 2 weeks ago I would have taken it….but for two good fixtures im slow to make the move…..

    • 136.2
      The B says:

I like Nolan from the players you mentioned.

      • as93 says:

Personally I’d avoid Nolan, West Ham are struggling to score and when I took a gamble on him he got sent off! Haha

        • daboyo says:

I know there is that risk with Nolan – but with Carroll back I wonder will he play as a false no 10…..

Osman has a good scoring record but Mirallas/Pienarr/Naismith are all knocking about aswell so its tough to choose the Everton player among them all….

Whittingham has the placed balls which is a plus for me…..fixtures are good aswell and they showed enough vs United that they can play….

    • 136.3
      Shep says:

      Daboyo
Wait and see about Aguero. If he is out the funds available will give you better options in the mid

      • daboyo says:

        cheers Shep

Ill hold tough for the news alright…..but id still look at West Ham/Everton and Cardiff when it comes to fixtures…. Mirallas possibly…..

of the more expensive midfielders – Oscar/Gerrard/Cazorla….their fixtures are tough enough,,,,as you say – Eriksen is in a nice run of form

  5. 137

163rd in the world this month! Well chuffed with that.

May have jumped the gun getting rid of Aguero havin just read the comments above. Got Mata and Sturridge though so should be ok

    • 137.1
      daboyo says:

Mata and Sturridge are solid replacements and will rise in value id imagine so no harm getting the added bit of value into the squad

  6. 138
    The B says:

Is anyone here considering selling Arsenal defence after the Palace game? Or will you just bench Sagna/Kosc for 2 consecutive GWs?
