Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34, Wednesday night edition – FPL Fantasy Premier League
The DGW continues… Finally we get round to the actual games that are the ‘double’ part of DGW34. Man City, fresh from a painful defeat at Anfield and without the talismanic Yaya Toure, will look to get their title challenge back on track as they host a Sunderland side who are seemingly heading toward the exit gates of the Premier League. While over on Merseyside Everton will look to continue a seven game winning streak and regain 4th place from Arsenal as they entertain a Palace side who are now almost certainly safe but will be looking to snatch a point here with their all out defencive tactics, the likes of which even Jose would be proud.
Time to sit back and see how your chosen players fare in the final part of the game-week.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for the remainder of GW34 from all at FF247!
Tomo
Glad to see the site back up and running.
Speroni/(Boruc)
Ward/Cahill/Azpil/(Coleman/Chester)
Gerrard/Silva/Eriksen/Mirallas/(Snodgrass)
Lukaku/Aguero/Suarez 3.4m in the bank
No FT but concerned about Mirrallas game time and thinking of Mata for a hit
Any chance of some comments on my team?
Cookie
Tomo, I can’t guarantee you that Mata will repay that hit this weekend, he is however guaranteed gametime which Mirallas isn’t and of course he has the DGW the week after, so would be a good forward investment.
Or you could do Mirallas to Ramsey then Gerrard to Mata the week after ? Depends on your view of Gerrard I guess.
Tomo
Cheers Cookie
I was thinking of keeping Gerrard as he hasn’t let me down since I brought him in about 4 weeks ago. Tricky decision this week though so I might leave it until last minute.

fair enough Tomo

What a night yersterday evening!
Am I the only one to doubt whether getting Aguero is a good idea?
I wonder whether investing the 4 millions difference with a Giroud or a Dzeko into a classy mid (I personnaly do not have Gerrard yet) is not a better idea. Especially given the possible absence of the fit Silva and Yaya to provide him with great passes…

Shep
Anyone?
Cookie
Shep,
Yaya to Ramsey, Sturridge to Aguero?
Next week – Mirallas to Mata ?
Shep
Cookie,
Thanks. That would leave me with 6.5m itb…
Wouldnt Rooney be an options for Lukaku as well?
Else what else you recon?
Cookie
Shep, the problem with Rooney is this foot injury and there have been rumours he could be out for the season. The other prob with the short fat one is that after an injury it generally takes him 2/3 games to get back into his stride.
How about Giroud or Adebayor?
Shep
Cookie
Im not sold on either of them.
Whats the story with Sturridge?
Cookie
Shep, the story with Sturridge is that a scan showed up a small strain. The club has said it will give him every chance to get fit for the weekend. Bear in mind they have Chelsea up next. Draw your won conclusions!!

I HATE these injuries… my team WAS so nice
Im very confused as what to do… I think an 8 point hit is in order to change 3 of my 6 injured… but who and for who…

Who should I’ve keep for this GW
Lambert or Lukaku ?
Already got Lallana for Southampton coverage
Jeet Top 4
Anyone ?
Albertini
Jeet – I’m keeping Lukaku as he’s usually better against stronger teams but I wonder if Man Utd is enough strong for him to score a few! I reckon Lallana is enough Southampton cover at this stage of the season and with their fixtures.

Wow, as soon as I bring in Silva, he gets flagged. Not impressed at all.
Vinci
Any idea who you will transfer for GW35?
Just to avoid transferring in a future injured player 😉
Milk and Busquets
Vinci, I’ll let you know as soon as I’ve overcome this feeling.
Albertini
Morning everyone, really glad to see the site up again, I really missed it last night before I decided to bring Eriksen in for Yaya.
It was another horrible GW for me, only 48 points and a few issues to sort out… triple Everton (Coleman, Mirallas and Lukaku), Snodgrass and now no City mids but enough fund to bring Silva or Nasri in for a hit. I’ll leave it to Friday after the pressers but I wonder if this is a good idea? Mirallas or Snodgrass to leave? Or Coleman to an Arsenal defender?
