Pottys Perfect 32 and Dodgy 32 World Cup Leagues
So at last on the 12th of June the waiting came to an end and the World Cup began with Brazil winning 3-1 against Croatia, but that was only a sideshow as another huge event rolled into town which was the World of Potty and these 2 mammoth competitions.
64 crazy fools doing battle against one another to win the Holy Grail and get named the Potty Champion of the World.
Now below are all the groups in both comps and the participating managers, so lets finally see who is in your group.
The top two from each group qualify for the next round just like the real thing and then enter the knock out stages to go head to head in the next rounds in a bid to qualify for the final of Pottys World Cup bonanza.
The medals and cups are all ready to go and so we just need someone to send them to! Good luck to one and all and thanks for entering Pottys World Cup competitions.

And in a bizarre twist of fate these 34 seem to be in a very tough Competition???
Some Pointers for you all.
1= Many of you are saying you cannot see your League/Group.
2= Well you must type the name of it in the Search for a League box?
3= For instance…if your in POTSTAR H? then type in POTSTAR H and click on Search and your League/Group will appear.
4=You will only see the points for other teams in your Group when the current point scoring stage has finished.
5= I will myself post the state of all the groups on here once the are available.
And finally, throughout this World Cup I will now and then post a Potty Plonker of the Week Award and guess what? After only 1 day we already have one and its a classic!!!
This lad thought he could beat the system so he fielded 6 bloody Brazilians, but McDonald’s played the auto sub rule on him and withdrew his 3 top scoring Brazil men for 3 lesser players and in doing so he lost many points for his blatant attempt at cheating, so the Potty Plonker of the Week is…..GALLOWGATORS….if you are in his POTSTAR D group buy him a pint as he needs one, lol.
Now lets get the Potty Banter underway.
Big Hugs
Potty
This McDonald’s game is laughable.
I have Ramos. The my team page says he has 11pts but his points breakdown only adds up to 9pts (3 for balls recovered, 3 for playing, 2 for blocked shots &1 for pass completion) but there are no deductions for goals conceded!
How are we supposed to decide who to substitute out if we don’t know how many pts they have!
Farce
Agree hammers. Plan on two removed ( one for every 2 conceded)
Guys really stupid question but how do I’ve check the players score ?
Can’t see them yet unless you have them.
So Spain concede 5 goals.. and Ramos scored me 11 points.. I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOU MCDONALDS FANTASY FOOTBALL! lol Alves who conceded 1, got me only 5 points!
Hey milky ive been away for a bit but checked my scores last night!! Ramos got -3 in Mirror game as well and to put his 11 into perspective in the McDs game Neymar got 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crazy!!!!!!!!
Ramos 11 points will probably be changed to 6 when the Dutch goals are substracted. That will probably be done tomorrow as this site is not very quick with updates. Extra challange for subbing in other players 😉
Apparently it’s -1 for every 2 goals, so would only be -2 and not -5, which would explain why his breakdown has 9 points at the moment instead of the 11 that is underneath his face in the pitch view.
Milky, as per the rules take away clean sheets and those defenders who have more to do at the back should, in theory, score higher – recoveries, tackles etc.
I understand log in issues and the site not being as user friendly as what we are used to and I’m far from defending the errors, but the scoring rules are quite clear. As per when we were talking of having 2 jubbly keepers rather than one good one.
I’ve seen lots of chat about it so i was wondering if the technique is to captain players who play early regardless of who they are and then keep switching it as the gameweek goes?
Griff unless you had and captained Neymar then that is the strategy to take until you land on one you are happy with.
or until your happy, ya
So Ryan of Aus got me 7 points last night, do I switch him out for the Greece GK?
Also got Arias of Columbia in Defence, wondering whether to bring him in for Alves, just not sure if he starts.
Shadow pretty sure Arias isn’t a starter. Mito will probably confirm this for you.
Great, tbf I just went off that whoscored document. I’ll probably leave him out and wait for Vertonghen or Van Bergen.
Do we know if you can change formation whilst making the changes or are we stuck with what we went with?
Shadow I tried it and u can change formation to accomadate a transfer just click on change formation tab above team!
Oh good was hoping someone has tried it! Thanks! Means I can take Fred out and add an extra Midfielder.
hi lads, by all accounts it takes out the player at the right in the new formation so be careful.
Switch your players if one you want to keep is on the right as you look at the screen
Cheers Dreamers!! 😉
Lads on the changing formation thing I understand the correct way up go about it is:
Step 1: remove the player you want subbed out (ie midfielder)
Step 2: change formation
Step 3: bring in the new player (ie striker)
Hope that makes sense – I haven’t had to do it yet but that’s how I believe it works.
That’s it Cookie. If you change formation first you run the risk of subbing out a player you want to keep!!
Thanks for that Cookie.
Don’t know if its been mentioned but Suarez is set to miss tonights game v Costa Rica!! Come on cappo Cavani!!! 😉
