Pottys Punters Weekly Review
So last Saturday saw an early start in Pottys Bookie’s as Potty and two of my staff, Flingy and Bench, put the Xmas Tree up ahead of opening. It was a long drawn out affair as Flingy had a chart for ‘Baubbles to Branches’ ratio and Bench spent an hour looking up the Angel’s dress but we cracked it with 15 minutes to spare.
As Saturday’s games got under-way an incredible score from Manchester came in and City’s 6-3 demolition of Arsenal had many folk discarding their bets from the off, this was followed by a boring 0-0 from Upton Park which emptied my shop.
Sunday arrived with two punters in the hunt for the £10 Free Ladbrokes bet and as Andy and Secretzorro took their seats the action started, the 3-0 away win by Man Utd over Aston Villa was not predicted by either. After a brief cuppa they witnessed the Suarez show and a 5-0 Liverpool win meant that to decide where the bet went the Tie-breaker was called upon.
The reds First goal on 18 minute’s sent the bet flying Andy’s way.
Well done Andy and I hope you have now redeemed your winnings.
Pottys PLONKER of the Week Award!!!!
Well what can we say about this fella, without doubt he is the richest punter amongst us all but his finances are managed very well, hence his yacht that bobs up and down in the warm water’s of Monaco harbour.
But he knows in his hearts of hearts he would give it all up to get 1…just 1 of his weekly Potty Predictions correct. With a unique 100% failure record since Pottys Bookies opened I give you all.

Potty

Guys, i’m not one for begging, but i could really use a hand here.
I made two transfers this week, bringing in Zabaleta and Rooney, and taking a hit to do so.
Even Fonte doesn’t seem to be getting played.
My team is:
Krul, (Lewis)
Zab, Fonte, Coleman, (Chester, Ramage)
Ramsey, Toure, Hazard, Fer, (Kim)
Lukaku, Rooney, Suarez
What the hell do i do?
Common Sense says: play Fonte and Rooney and hope they play. Not sure why you did not address Fonte or Ramage with your second transfer. Have to have a playing bench during the Christmas period.
Don’t take a hit
Your points will be less than shite
I hope this a lesson learned
to keep you from getting burned
waiting till Friday is the rule of the ancient
so learn to be more patient.
Common Sense
A. Hope Rooney plays.
B. Play Ramage instead of Zableta.
C. I’m assuming that you did Aguero-> Rooney, and that the move to get Zabaleta was not to collect cash for another transfer. So don’t do those types of early transfer anymore.
Righto. Cheers guys. It was just a case of making changes as soon as i heard Aguero’s injury to avoid price drops. Don’t normally make early transfers.
keep the team as it is shep! Transfer Zab next week. simples
Liverpool 2 – 0 Cardiff City
Stoke City 1 – 0 Aston Villa
Man Utd 1 – 0 West Ham Utd
WBA 1 – 0 Hull – First goal in the 32nd Minute
Liverpool 4 – 0 Cardiff City
Stoke City 0 – 0 Aston Villa
Man Utd 3-0 West Ham Utd
WBA 1 – 0 Hull – First goal in the 65th Minute
So from City and Arsenal i’ve got Aguero and Ramsey currently and no Man u cover
question is would you bring in Negrado or Rooney for Aguero
and Silva or Walcott for Oviedo/Ravel?
mids: Ramsey, Hazard, Cabaye, Ravel, Ovideo
frwds: Suarez, Luka, Aguero
1ft alot of RVP money
Negredo seems to be the choice with Rooney yellow-flagged (unless you think Moyes is just playing mind games)
If you are doing a second transfer this week, Silva, otherwise next week Walcott, for Ravel probably.
I think you need to get one of the City players. I got Silva myself.
thanks guys, i’m thinking negrado over rooney and i do want silva. maybe get wally next week.
just worried about the lack of manu coverage at home to west ham
