World Cup 2014 Fixtures Schedule
Following on from our World Cup group by group analysis we are delighted to present to you our fixture tracker for the group stages. Many thanks to Andy who kindly volunteered to provide us with this along with his take on how it will all pan out in the usual colour coded fashion, complete with a current form guide which will give you an idea of how each team is shaping up in preparation for the big day. Hopefully this will be of some help to you all as you plan your fantasy teams and their progression through the group stages. We shall endeavour to update this as the competition progresses to the knock out stages to keep you as well informed as possible.

Form Guide Key
W – Wins
D – Draws
L – Losses
F- Goals For
A- Goals Against
CS- Clean sheets attained in last 10 games
Rather than taking results from the last 6 games as per the norm I’ve stretched it out to include the last 10 games to try and include as much competitive football as possible as persistent freindly games are sometimes not the best stats to gather information from, I think only the Koreans have not had a competitive game in their last 10 games. The quality of opposition also varies greatly across the board.
NB All stats are up to date to the 23/05/14, all teams still have either 2 or 3 friendlies left to play until the competition kicks off.

Color Code Key
Purple – Not only do I think this team has a high chance of winning the game I also believe it may be possible for them to win by a fairly big margin.
Green – All green team games should be considered as favorites for this tie.
Yellow – All yellow team games should be considered, as it could possibly go either way.
Red – All red team games could see that team struggling in that corresponding fixture.

Hearing about this Pogba to Chelsea for 60M+. Crazy money involved there! But Chelsea will obviously be delighted to have Pogba.
Imagine Matic + Pogba ahead of the back four. Dangerously defensive.
Good evening all, heres one for you :- Name the three Spaniards to have scored a Premier League hat-trick.
Fernando torres
Jeet, thats the 1st one.
Mata
Santi Cazorla
Alonso,Fabregas !
Thats 2 Jeet.
Wrong on that 1 Jeet.
Evening elle
Jordi Gomez?
Huh ! The googling chicken is about, correct. :big-lol:
I’m not playing anymore
Theres no more answers to get numbnuts.
Mito my friend, you about ?
What’s up Elle?
Post below Mito.
Init, do you study this stupid mls ? I’ve got Torres, Espindola, Dwyer + Fondy up top, i’ll do Torres to Higuain, would you take out Espindola or Dwyer for Schipp who has a dgw ?
Yes I do and yes I would
Which one out, Dwyer or Espindola ?
Espin. Dwyer has an easier fixture IMO
Elle may have to find a third opinion. but I do prefer Espi anyway, just because he is a bonus point magnet sort of a Higuain type where as Dwyer depends strictly on goals.
I would take out Dwyer. You will want Espi back a week later as he is one of the few playing in that 2 fixture GW15. So need to sell him and lose money when you are going to get him right back.
MLS is really tricky for strikers. There are so many to chose from!
I’ve got Fondy as my bench fodder and Keane, Martins and Dwyer.
Any suggestions for next week? I’m still very much in the newbie camp!
Ta.
Chins best options for next week, Moor, RSL or Colorado keeper, Powers, Burchers, Parkhurst, Morales, Higuain and a Chicago striker could be Shipp/Amarikwa/Magee Shipp seems to be on some set pieces and plays a midfielder type role from what I gather ( not that I have ever seen him ) if Plata is back he would be a definite. Could be more but those are the DGW guys I am looking at.
Brilliant Mito – Thanks a lot for that!
Just took Plata out! Oh well. Another rookie mistake for the list.
+1, I’ll keep Espindola and get rid of Dwyer for the aforementioned reasons.
I guess he didn’t like any of our answers! 😉
Evening all.
Is anyone else really liking the Fantasy T20? I’m loving all the double game weeks and its really obvious a lot of the people playing it are cricket people rather than seasoned FPL players. One of the best scorers from last week is one of the most transfered in players this week despite him having a blank gameweek!!
And we’ve got some triple (and one quadruple!) gameweek coming up! Hits ahoy!
No?
Just me then?
I live for Cricket
There is no room for sarcasm on this site Mito.
Clearly the prospect of losing our H2H is getting too much for you 😉
Am I playing you?
Like you didn’t already know!!
You’re fooling no one with this “what?, cricket?, a bit like tennis you say?” BS.
Damn. Just checked. You’re winning our match by 125 points!
Stupid game.
125 is that all? Very embarrassing to be barely beating an amateur by such a small margin.
I’m loving it too Chins, just not as much as Mito!!
Seriously, I much prefer it to football as a sport, but that will probably get me banned from here!!
Yep, if you weren’t one of those in charge that could well be a ban’able offence.
But a quadruple gameweek?! I mean come on, it doesn’t get better than that!
Don’t worry Cookie, I prefer Rugby League as a spectator sport!
I used to love watching Rugby League Init, still prefer it to Union.
Chins, this quadruple GW you talk of……sssshhhhh :hippo:
Fair point. I’m basically just informing my competition aren’t i?!
Pretend i didn’t say anything.
Look Mito!! Something over there!! It’s shiney!
:turtle:
Can’t stand Union!
Quadruple eh? Hmmm… I’ll look into that 😉
Er, yeah. I’m gonna need to find a different place to talk about this aren’t i?!
Loving it Chins. I’ve got a nice case of the captain playing 0 mins and the VC smashing it this GW, so looking forward to seeing the extra points added on at the end
Those are my favourite sort of points Calvin!
I’m also liking the 12th man idea. It makes it more of a challenge vs having 3 sitting on the bench.
In fact its so good, they should look at introducing it into real cricket…
The Aussies got quite pissy when our 12th man caught one of them out a while back I remember haha.
Another Willey lover Calvin? 😉 Big night tomorrow to conclude the week and he goes again. Hoping he can smash the 1000 point barrier as captain on his own!
Yep, love Willey, me!
Ok. Just got it.
HaHa!
I’m having a slow day today.
Damn Willey. I’ve avoided him so far. Too expensive, but if he keeps this up i might need to get on board.
The wounds from ignoring Ramsey for 5 months are still too raw to miss another.
Given his price it’d be more like missing Suarez!

Anyone see the Jocks 2nd Goal?
Match fixing of the highest order.
The Nigerian keeper must be involved?
Potty
Good of you to mention this Potty. This match is being investigated for match-fixing, and the second goal for Scotland was an own goal by the Nigerian keeper that looked very suspicious. Thus one should be a little skeptical to use this result as a reflection of the Nigerians’ skill.
