World Cup 3rd Group Phase Live Match Chat
Welcome to World Cup 3rd Group Phase Live Match Chat.
Forewarned is forearmed and all that….
We’ve posted this particular LMC a bit earlier than normal but that’s simply because of the points we are about to come onto really and their implications for your teams. This is where it starts to get a bit tricky as some teams have already qualified and others are still fighting tooth and nail to do so. Rest and rotation will occur naturally at this point for those who have but perhaps that may also depend on whether they are secure in 1st spot or wish to avoid a more tricky route by finishing there as opposed to 2nd. Either way it’s probably not the best round to be deploying that Bench Boost chip as getting 11 on the pitch may be hard enough, never mind 15!
For the record then here’s a quick reference guide to the situation in each group and who’s either ‘Qualified‘, have a ‘Squeaky bum time‘ ahead or are simply OUT! We won’t go into the exact scenarios in each group because quite simply they’re seemingly infinite and also mind numbing. All you need to know is whether they are through or not really. But even then it’s anybody’s guess as to what sort of team hits the field come kick off. It’ll be carnage, basically!

You may need to be a touch more savvy with your planning in this round too as there are just 4 game days as opposed to the previous rounds being spread over 5 or 6 days. It means that the bench and captain switch options won’t be such a lose affair as they were previously. You can still plan out 4 viable captains and organise a decent enough bench of course. The fixtures themselves are as follows…

Good luck to most of you, but not all of you for this 3rd phase of fantasy World Cup!
Neymar is such a fcking toe rag!
Prick you mean?
Yes!
I have my TV on mute. Can’t stand the commentators praising Brazil like they are something special. What a pair of tossers, worse than schoolboys
Who, me and Kop? 😉
We’ve been called worse
On a daily basis 😆
Are you two cracking up now the games are over 😆
Watching the cricket!
What the f—k is wrong with Marcelo ????
Injured after 10mins Silvers
The R Rod capo is not really going to plan.
At least he wasn’t red carded!
16 points two captains spent absolutely diabolical oh well one chance for Cap pick left but not great choices let’s see
23 here Silvers. Yeah crap round. Down to Mojica, 2 Belgians who won’t play and Captain Kamakharzi.
What are your captain choices?
It will be on Kane mate fingers crossed
That is true. Let’s go with the best.
Brazil don’t look convincing and I can’t see them a winner. England, Croatia and Colombia have much better chances to go all the way. It has been a weird WC so far and I am glad Wimbledon is starting on Monday.
And the TDF a week on Saturday
Hey Ivan I’m at Wimbledon on the 12th should be a good day free booze all day so might not be standing by the end of the day
You will have a great time Silvers. I’ve been there few times. It’s more fun in one day than a month watching the WC on telly
Yes Ivan I’ve been there a few times once to the final , few yrs ago now though looking fwd to it , not looking fwd to the drive in though.
Kop is that open yet?
No. Checked yesterday.
Are we all enjoying the cricket? First a whitewash, now looking ok in the firstie…
OK, any solid information that Kane will start tomorrow?
How about risking with James?
Nothing solid. I reckon he will though from the comments but that’s reading between the lines.
You were spot on the other night when predicted that whatever happens I will and up with Harry as a captain
Go for it. There’s goals in that one for sure. There would be if they played their first team but he’s looking at playing the reserves so I reckon there definitely is.
Well, it’s 50/50. Half of the experts say that they should go with the first team in order to keep the rhythm, the other insist on reserves to protect them from exhaustion.
The bad thing is that is one of the evening games. Hopefully we can get some more info in the morning.
I meant Belgium not England. Belgium look certain to field a second string. England will be a mix ‘n match job. With Kane!
You are right. I am going with Kane by hook or by crook.
That was the reason to bring him in 🙂
