World Cup Semi Finals Live Match Chat
Welcome to World Cup Semi Finals Live Match Chat. We are down to crunch time for the four remaining teams. They say the semi-finals is the cruellest round to exit a tournament, so all four sides will be determined to reach a World Cup Final and take a step closer to the ultimate prize.
The World Cup has turned into a European Championship in effect with just France, Belgium, England and Croatia remaining.
Tuesday’s semi between France and Belgium is likely to be the more entertaining spectacle of the two matches with the likes of Griezmann, Mbappe & Pogba lining up vs Lukaku, Hazard & KDB.
This is the fifth time France have reached the semi-final stage, while Belgium have only reached this stage once before, in 1986.
Wednesday sees England appear in a World Cup semi-final for the first time since 1990. Gareth Southgate’s youthful squad is the youngest at the World Cup and while they have taken advantage of a kind draw to get to this stage, there is growing belief that 52 years of hurt may be coming to an end! This is only the third time England have reached the last four.
England’s opponents will be spot-kick champs Croatia who have come through two successive penalty shoot-outs to reach the last four. The Croats have reached the semis just once before, in 1998 and remain heavily reliant on their midfield duo of Modric and Rakitic.
From a fantasy point of view we have 5 free transfers for this round and we can now own a maximum of six players from any one team.
THE GAMES IN FULL

First attempt RMT going to be hard this season 😉
Alright Silvers, how’s your midweek travel plans coming along?
There’s much I like about this side…Ederson, Daniels, Coleman, Salah, Firmino.
Tosun could really work well given Everton’s open fixtures, keep an eye preseason to see how Silva has them playing.
Kun I think should also work well until Jesus is back and then who knows?
Don’t ask Cookie not a clue what I’m doing yet will decide tomorrow
Should anyone wish to lend an ear (not literally, mind), I came up with this short instrumental on my acoustic. I’m worried I might have ripped the melody off something else though…

Already rehearsing for Sunday 🙂
Hah, it’ll be the full blown electric version by then. Getting the dry ice machine fired up already.
Nice one
Absolutely love that Bry. I got a slightly different but very similar version on a DM the other night as you know (basically the same but without the showing off bit in the middle 😉 ) and I must have listened to it 30 times. It was like a calm contemplative version of the days events after it had all calmed down. Perfect.
Thanks! Don’t know if my neighbours agree though.
Have also recorded a 38 minute recital of “World in Motion” on the spoons if anyone’s interested.
FPL – Wilshere to West Ham confirmed
Is this FPL related.
:big-lol:

Wow Wolves & WHU so high
Yeah not sure why Wolves are so high
Smash They have a couple of interesting players Douglas & Jota both on my radar
Yeah I currently have Jota though not sure. Douglas is too expensive I think but could be wrong he did get a lot of assists last season.
14 assists & 5 goals good for a def but 5m & new to prem is putting me off
Decent stats one of them has to be worth a punt
Thing is if my club were provincial in the Premier League I would have at least a tenner on them.
Think of those loads who had a bet on Leicester two years ago based on them just being their own club!
Need a replacement for Meunier do we thk Boyata will start ???
I don’t think Boyata starts. Carrasco will come back in is my guess
That is what they predict but…
Matuidi could be the punt we’re looking for.
He’s in already DMC
Hey lads, nice to see some FPL news and RMTs here already. Can’t wait to get back on it.
Before that, want to get this one done with. Chasing ML by 30 pts, bit of a stretch tbf considering many players are gonna be similar. Which team would you fill up these 5 positions with? And also who? Please suggest. Also don’t mind removing one of Lukaku/Hazard for a French attack.
Pogba, Lingard, Fellaini, Maguire, Young…
Cheers cookie, I’ll start tinkering again in the morning.
Well that’s another innuendometer circuit fried. These machines aren’t cheap y’know.
