Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3. “It’s time to play the music, It’s time to light the lights…”. With game-weeks 1&2 done & dusted it’s time to sit down and hopefully enjoy GW3, our final game-week before the international break. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday as a pointless Bournemouth take on a City side who have yet to sparkle. This is followed by four 3pm kick-offs, all of which appear to be rather uninspiring. Saturday concludes with free scoring United hosting a Leicester City side who look somewhat rejuvenated this season.

At 1:30pm on Sunday Chelsea will look to build upon their win over Spurs as they face Spurs. At the same time West Brom host Stoke in what is likely to be an enthralling game!! 4pm sees Liverpool host Arsenal in a game that has a history of goals. Also at 4pm those that have sold and those have held onto Harry Kane will be biting their nails as he seeks to break his August duck as Burnley visit Wembley.

Everton fans – would you want Costa on a short-term loan? The Echo is not completely sold, mainly due to it being a short-term loan but I think someone of his calibre can only be a good thing. I’ll be all over him GW7 should he join!

Im thinking about taking a 4PH…
Hear me out, havent done a transfer yet and rarely take hits
    DDG Elliot
    Hegazi Alonso Cedric Suttner Mason
    Pogba KDB Willian Ritchie Carroll
    Lukaku Kane JRod

Thinking KDB, Ritchie and JRod out for D.Silva, Atsu and Firmino
Keeps a City attacking player (that has played all the minutes so far), same with Newcastle’s Atsu (plus his preseason form was insane) and this way gives me a Liverpool attack for a West Brom attacker that hasnt done much…

I did the J-Rod to Firmino move last week and it just about paid off, although I think in the long run it’s surely a better bet. I can’t see J-Rod playing expansive football and bagging a hat-trick too often! KDB to Silva on the evidence this season seems a 50/50 but expect KDB to outscore across the season and probably to play more minutes too. Don’t know too much about Atsu so can’t help there but on the face of it I’d say the moves as a whole add up. Can you stall them for a week to guard against injuries?

      Im biased.
I got crippled by glass ankles Silva before, got him in, injured then it seemed to be listed as 1 week return every week for the next two months! & now like me is older & balder.

    afternoon all,

what is the general opinion of WC use – I tend to use it early to build team value that helps after xmas to build a good squad and that seems to be a strong strategy even more so now the Free Hit means you can switch your squad to catch any DGWs around Easter time. On the other hand I don’t feel I necessarily need major changes to my team and the price rises have been quite slow this year so perhaps team value won’t play such a role as in the past.

    Thoughts?
