Live Match Chat Gameweek 26 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 26 FPL News: It’s a slightly reduced fixture list this week as we have just the 8 games having lost all of Arsenal, both Manchester clubs and Southampton due to the League Cup final but if this comes as a shock to you at this stage then you really haven’t been paying attention! And it’s probably a bit late to do anything about it now. If you are feeling deprived though then this is just the appetiser to GW28 which looks like the shell of a real gameweek. This one does still span three days though and we begin on Saturday with five 3pm kick offs featuring the likes of Chelsea and Everton with potentially plum home ties as the main highlights, before Watford entertain West Ham in the evening game. Sunday then sees Spurs host Stoke before Leicester and Liverpool see out our FPL week on Monday evening. Live Match Chat is when we truly hand the site over to the community so feel free to post your comments and feelings as the games happen.

Okay,, peoole. I will not use bad words but fill them in for your own. I am sure you know some.

Like 1358 I check my team one last time. And suddenly I see Mane my hit is the third on the fukcing bench. I try to change it but it keeps going to dream team. At 1400 it finally made the sub but the game was on the thingy already. SO I think I am doomed.

Last night the changes didnt go through and now this. I FEEL SO BAD. sad

Gulp. Two weeks of fretting have led to me doing a -4 and playing a formation I’ve never done before: 5-4-1. Feels dodgy. Way outside comfort zone. Late night/early morning transfers: doncha just wish you could have a little more discipline?

Going for a back 4 has worked wonders this season given how some teams have been able to churn out CS + some high scoring defenders that have outscored the mid tier midfielders unlike other seasons – my league league plays a 4-3-3 and is top 5k.

Saw some analysis elsewhere that playing defenders have been working for this FPL season
