Good afternoon my Potty punters and how are you all? Let me guess a bit lost due to this 10 day FPL amnesty? Well fear not as I have something special for you all, so as some of you may be jetting off into the sun and others maybe having cosmetic surgery that’s needed or just simply catching up on plain old house work, I bring to you the biggest “Potty Competition” of them all!
Let’s play – “Blink And You’ll Miss It”
1 – The Competition starts this Wednesday – 25th March.
2 – Its a score prediction game only.
3 – And each day for 8, yes 8 days a set of matches will be posted by me for you too predict on ok? Hence the title of the competition.
4 – At 11pm after the daily matches have ended, guess what? A potty “Predictions League Table” will be available for all to view.
5 – The FF247 user who finishes top of the table wins the booty.

Note – Last time this Competition was run a certain individual failed too predict on the last day of play, he was top at the time and subsequently lost his chance of winning.
So if you are on holiday or just having a wax-n-crack beauty treatment make sure the establishment has Wi-Fi, simples.

A question about Austin as captain. He’s capable of scoring against big teams and small, home and away. For sure QPR loses two DGW games, but if QPR scores, Austin’s almost certainly going to be involved. WBA is little vulnerable, Vanilla a lot. If Austin get’s one goal, he on 14 points, more is gravy?
Just curious, as I don’t see any other certain picks (maybe Rooney?)..
Hey Ki, yes of course Austin is capable of scoring, he’s proved that this season – and if you think he will then you’re right to captain him. It’s just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, if I had Austin I would certainly play him, pretty sure I wouldn’t captain him. I certainly wouldn’t buy him especially for this DGW – though I understand many think differently, which is all cool. It’s boring if we all thought the same!
Two goals in his last nine doesn’t fill me with a huge amount of confidence. I don’t think QPR will score at West Brom, which in my view takes away the attraction of a DGW for him.
As I say, just my view, but I’d be more comfortable putting the armband on Benteke than Austin.
Other better capo choices for me are Costa (if fit), Hazard, Rooney, Mata, Kane.

Great response. I’m persuaded. I guess I am tempted because I already have him, but I have all the others, too-save Costa. On 247 advice, I’m waiting to see where Costa’s temper gets him through GW32. I’m looking forward to the capo article.
KI, I feel bad now as I never try to put someone off their captain decision – it’s a very personal choice and if you feel he’ll score one or two then you should go for it.

No harm, no foul. I think you’ve just given plain good advice in a week where there are plenty of other choices. And I’ve over a week to consider a substantial group of alternatives.
Sometimes the DGW gets me going, and I’ve been burned, more often than not. It’s also made me more cautious about gambling -4s to stack a DGW team. And this week’s DGW article was pretty withering.
