Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 12
Well, not exactly what we were looking for in game-week 11. We scored 53 points which was 3 points below the average. Our rank for the week was over 2 million and after those numbers there was no real doubt that we would see a red arrow. We proceeded to drop 124,910 spots in the overall from 483,140 to our new rank of 608,050. The tough season continues, but there is still plenty of time to climb in the overall to a respectable position. Onto a quick rundown of the week that was before we discuss our plans for the week ahead.
In goal we had Boaz Myhill who was probably tired of us looking at him with our puppy eyes, just begging for a clean sheet. So naturally he decided to let in one or three. One point from our shot stopper this GW. If the upcoming difficulty of his fixtures are any indication we should see a lot of one pointers over the coming weeks.
In defence we had the ever consistent Morgan who once again delivered his customary returns with a one pointer. Good to know that we can count on him to never keep a clean sheet when we play him. It is not that we take pride in being ignorant we just choose to embrace the delusion in owning a Leicester defender. Speaking of defenders producing little to nothing, enter Kolarov. With the clean sheet gone his chance came to redeem himself with a penalty… ARRRGHHH! Just about summed up our season so far that one. Luckily our new transfer brought us some joy, as van Dijk was able to grab a clean sheet. Now that’s money well spent, for now.
Our midfield was the Mahrez show after he grabbed a brace and the 3 bonus points for an outstanding 15 points. However his 55% ownership means that he also did that for just about all relevant teams. So with Payet, Sanchez and KDB only combining for 10 points it wasn’t happy days in the FF247 offices.
For those following along, you will have noticed that we did a small pros and cons on 4 forwards last week in our transfer section of this article. We proceeded to highlight why or why not we thought Kane, Giroud, Lukaku and Bony could turn out to be good or possibly a bad transfer. Naturally we selected Gomis to move out and we bought his non goal scoring cousin Bony, such a smooth transition that one. So that’s right, we managed to pick the only one who didn’t score at the very least a goal. FFS!!!! One time…one time, it be cool if we catch a break. Oh well, at least we still had Pele (Vardy) and Pelle to console us a bit with a goal each. Now onto our transfer plans, where I am sure we will make another brilliant decision and ruin some poor footballers good form.

Transfer(s) for GW12 – None!
We don’t often fall out. Well at least not Saturday to Thursday anyway… Friday seems to be the tipping point for some unknown reason. Well, we say unknown…
The only real suggestion this week was whether to transfer Myhill out (good idea, given his fixtures) and bring in DDG (good idea, given his fixtures) or to save the transfer and spurn the inevitable 4+ point gain. The vote went in favour of saving the FT with a view to having two FT’s after the international break.
It was not a vote well received in some quarters and let’s just say that some prams were without dummys for a while on Friday! Either way that was the decision reached but investigations have begun and let’s just say that vote rigging is a crime punishable by a 26 week ban…

Team Selection
Ten of the eleven need no explanation this week. As for the 11th – Naughton vs Morgan, we can’t really offer any viable argument as to why we would field either! We had to pick one and went for Naughton. All four teams involved in the decision this week have comparable stats in terms in terms of goals for and against given their respective home and away status. Purely on the basis that Leicester can’t help but concede early on and then have to make a drastic rescue mission we plumped for Naughton.

Captain – Kenin de Bruyne
Having been rested mid-week Kevin should be raring to go and a flailing Villa side feels as good a target as any for a rampant Man City.
Our vice-captain is Graziano Pelle

Keep FT or replace Butland/Richards?
And cap:
1. Vardy
2. KdB
3. Pelle
Save & KdB.
Yeah, I noticed Watford just conceded 10 goals in 11 matches. That’s really f-ing good. I know Leicester love scoring and they probably will but it won’t be as easy as many think, I think. 😉
Who would you rather bench?
Ighalo or mane or pelle
Coin toss. Glad I am not in your shoes. Whomever you bench can score big. Bwahaha. Good luck. ^^
Maybe mane? He is not owned by many so even if he scores, I won’t be damaged too much? But then again same can be said about ighalo arghhhhhhhhh
Ighalo, other two against Sunderland…
Sunderland and Leicester both love conceding goals. 😉
Watford on the other hand have a pretty tight defence. FFS, why did I go with a Bou defender?![sad](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/sad.gif)
Am I good to go? Considered playing AOA but probably not going to bother this week.
Good to go.![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
Sucks for many peepz having these type of players on their bench. Will be a fun GW, I think many will cry. :p
RMMFT?!
Myhill in!
Coin toss, no?
Myhil better CS potential imo
Unsure about that one Rambo. Gomes isn’t the topscoring goalie for nothing. Leicester score more easy though. Hmmm, if I had to pick I had to pick on saves and I personally think Gomes has to make more saves. Coin toss though.
Aaah yes, Watford have a good solid defence. Just conceded 10 goals, main reason why I didn’t
Good to go?
If you had a choice between ighalo or mane, who would you benching?
Mane…… Just
Mitro, time for some Dutch Music. ^^

Ha ha quality
I miss those days. Best music made in the 60’s and 70’s. I grew up in the 90’s and loved the music back then however I figured from instrumental perspective it couldn’t get any worse. Shrugs, nowadays the music is even freaking worse with Bieber and co. *shakes head* Rather have this.![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
The dance scene was so freaking bad, it was good. 😉
Good morning fellas. I can’t decide between KDB/Pelle/Mahrez for captain so I’m going with my usual tiebreaker and putting the armband on the guy with a Sunday fixture (KDB). That way no matter what happens today I can keep hope alive tonight! Haha, best of luck to you all, hope you score some big points.![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
Yeah, go all out with Gay D Bee. 😉
Haha, who’d you go with for cappo Raz?
Gay D Bee, DUH. Just told ya. Was on Vardy the whole week but looked at the Watford stats and they are too good defensively. Doesn’t mean Leicester can break them open but Villa has a shittier defence.![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
Just checked, Watford just conceded 10 freaking goals. Super comeback by Gomes, my man. Always been a huge fan of his. Was very sad that he didn’t succeed at Spurs, he was considered a joke even. I guess he didn’t feel comfortable there. Really sad. He was superb for PSV when they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, him and Alex (later Chelski), Park (United). Was a good squad.
Alright good, safety in numbers! It was interesting to read about Vardy’s lack of BPS this season. He’s sort of like Costa from last season, scoring goals but rarely getting any bonus points. Still a reliable team member but not usually good for huge captain hauls.
