Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28. After last week’s quick turnaround we have two game weeks of results for you this week. You’ll be sick of hearing from me by the time my brother, Rosco, is back from Geneva, He’s skiing in the Alps btw, not attending the UN conferences and attempting to avert WW3. I think. Lucky b@stard, I feel like I’ve done nothing but type and stare at this computer screen all week.

Two weeks of pretty big scores in the H&L offices as we saw two double gameweeks back to back. City were stunned by a 2-3 loss to Spurs, Liverpool hammered Leeds 6-0 after winning 3-1 versus Norwich. In fact Leeds were hammered by everyone with a 0-4 loss to Spurs too. This saw the much beloved Bielsa leaving the club and I for one will miss his style of play!

Well let’s move on to the results as that’s probably all you care about.

GW26 was tied between Sherlock, BhandrexBhajiegoer and Eplnoob all on 13 points. The one who came out on top was Sherlock who was only 3 minutes away from the correct time for the first goal! Congrats Sherlock!

GW27 winner was once again tied but this time it was a five way battle between Bejo, Newo, JamieMc, RafflesHotspur and M.Salah all on a brilliant 14 points. Bejo, Newo and Jamie were all within single digits from the correct time but the one who was only 2 minutes out was Bejo! Congrats in a hard battled contest! The vast majority of people correctly guessed Che Adams as the first goal scorer so well done to all there!

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points

(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)

(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)

Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.

The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 8:00 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.
