Harry & Lloyd’s Predictions Competition

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW31

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW31 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW31. GW30 started in an unlikely fashion. Few expected a West Brom win at Stamford bridge and not surprisingly not a single person correctly predicted the 2-5 scoreline. Thankfully there were a fair few run-of-the-mill results that meant it took 14pts to take the number one position this week. Otieno was one of only two of you to correctly pick Pulisic as the first goalscorer and it was this that pushed his score to the aforementioned 14pts and seal the top spot. Nice. Iggy came a close second with 11pts, with Tornado (who also went with Pulisic FGS) and AllanBrallan tied in third. Well done all of you! And so; Many Congratulations to Otieno. Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW30

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW30 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW30. Not many games and not many points. Or at least that’s how it was for yours truly with a grand total of zero points! Thankfully there are plenty of you with far better skills when it comes to predicting the results of football matches, which is probably why I’m the bookie’s favourite customer. Quite how our very own LoudAtlas managed 10pts (a good score in a normal game week) is beyond me, but he did and it was enough to secure the top spot. Skills to pay the bills. Second place was a tie between Gear, Elderzadi, Bejo and WhoIsRonaldo who all finished on an almost as impressive 8pts. Well done all! League table Our Matt is still holding onto the top spot with anot...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW29

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW29 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW29. A few weeks back I lamented non-stop football with kick-off times spread over the course of an entire week. Well, I’m not sure what is worse, that, or what we have this week. This week the fixtures span 3 days but there are only 4 of the buggers. Be careful what you wish for and all that! A score of 12pts is often enough to take the prize. Well, both COYS and WhoIsRonaldo did the hard part in getting the points, but sadly they will have to be content sharing second place. This week’s winner with a mighty fine 16pts is JamieMc whose bumper score has seen him climb the table and move-in on the ‘Champions league spots’. Well played mate! Once again nobody guess...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28. Well, that was some game to end gameweek 27 on! City and Southampton offered plenty of goals to bring the curtains down on yet another DGW! Thankfully we should only have one more DGW left but that has not been announced so for the meantime GW28 is a regular week. This will give my head a break from counting and updating a table…. not that I’m complaining. People have been asking about their t-shirts and how they have not arrived yet and we have news! Rosco ‘politely’ (called someone a c*nt :rofl asked what the story was with our postman. Well our postman has finally sent out a batch of t-shirts so I want to see lots of pictures of all your ugly mugs as soon...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 26 & 27

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s26 & 27 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’26 & 27. When I was a lad football used to be mostly played on a Saturday afternoon. Then the Premier League came along and Sunday afternoon football became the norm. Before long they sneaked in Monday night football and whilst we all looked the other way, Friday night matches became a thing. Madness. Then along came Covid who did whatever the Pandemic equivalent of ‘Hold my beer’ is. Now its football every bloody day. Well once again it’s a Double Game Week, followed by yup, you guessed it, another Double Game Week. You know the drill; fixtures at the bottom, its a doubler, post all as one or comment on your original post for the subsequent game wee...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW24 & 25

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW24 & 25 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW24 & 25. Another large H&L article has finally come to an end with the conclusion of GW20 and thus we have four more winners. Following on from winning in GW19, former H&L contributor DMC made it two on the trot by also winning GW20. DMC finished top of the pile on 11 pts. Although the poor lad is still in a legal dispute with FPL Towers over his t-shirt (long story, don’t ask!). He was pushed all the way by OddDane, Bejo, Otieno and MDB who all scored a brilliant 10 points. Only two people guessed that Zaha would be the first goal scorer and they were Bejo and Sherlock. Each week finished with very close scores and that was the same for GW21 as Tekno won on 12...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 20-23

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 20-23 GW19 is not quite finished but as far as this competition goes it’s as over as Liverpool’s title hopes (I jest of course). The reduced GW18 saw predictably low-scoring with just 2pts being the pickup for most of our competitors. However LittleRedLacazette mirrored his impressive FPL form to take top-spot with 6pts with 2nd place shared among the masses – AllanBrallan, Padster, Elderzadi, Sweetbluetoffee, Eplnoob, Coys, Qwkliduzzit and Perun. Nobody got FGS correct (Billy Sharp in the 73rd minute). In contrast, GW19 boasted an inflated fixture list and that was reflected in the 17pts required to take top-spot. That was done by one of our own and former H&L contributor DMC – nice work pal!. Second place was t...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 18 & 19

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW’s 18 & 19 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW18 and GW19. The hectic Christmas period is behind us and we have 5 weeks’ worth of results to catch-up on. However, as Init showcased in this week’s Fixtures article, upcoming game-weeks are not exactly coming up at a leisurely pace. With that in mind, we will once more be posting a double fixtures list that covers both game-weeks 18 and 19. As always, either post your predictions for both game-weeks in a single post or if you chose to do them separately, please comment on your original post to ensure Matt retains his sanity! Onto the winners! GW13 results – The Winner in GW13 was yours truly! (Rosco), my first time doing so, proving just how trick...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions Christmas Bumper Edition GW’s 14 to 17

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions Christmas Bumper Edition GW’s 14 to 17 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions Christmas Bumper Edition GW’s 14 to 17 H&L veterans will be well accustomed to our Christmas routine here, but for any newbies, or indeed any vets with a short memory, this is how we will roll for the next few weeks: This article covers all GW’s from 14-17, inclusive We shall announce all winners from GW’s 13 to 17 in our GW18 article in the New Year You can post all your predictions at once if you like or take it week by week as usual but all of them need to be on this article If you choose the latter option, that is to say you post your predictions week by week, or day by day as the schedule allows, then please try to do the...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13. With the quick turnaround, we’ll keep things short and sweet this week and dive straight into the winners! First place in last weeks predictions was a tie between Shinespark and Hammerfan who both netted 10pts. Whilst Shinespark guessed first goal scorer Klich, his prediction of the 49th minute was not as close as Hammerfan’s 12th-minute prediction, which was enough to seal the deal for him. Our very own master of mischief Mito grabbed the third spot with 9pts. Notable mentions to M.Salah, Mahelmy, Redmen, Treacle, Frenchie and Igy who all came close to the podium with 8pts. And so; Many Congratulations to Hammerfan. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.u...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. Crystal Palace’s 1-5 win away to West Brom was the only match to break too far away from the expected norm. We had the usual smattering of 2-1’s (although both technically 1-2’s), just three clean sheets (the usual suspects in City, Liverpool and Spurs) and just a solitary draw (Burnley v Everton). So, how did this week’s predictions go? Matt tells me that it was a battle to the death (or words to that effect) between Jamie Mc, Gear, Pjlill, Mosc, MBD, and Ivan who all scored 12pts. No one correctly predicted this week’s FGS (understandable as it was Robbie Brady) However MDB did correctly predict that it would come in the 3rd minute and takes top-spot...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11. It’s only taken 10 weeks but I think we can finally say with confidence that results have returned to the mean. 2-1 is a classic scoreline and normally the safest prediction in any given match, this week we had three of them. Throw in a 1-1, a couple of 1-0’s and the annual Man City 5 Burnley 0 and things look positively, well, normal. This week we have our first Covid Postponement, Villa v Newcastle as of now is no longer a part of GW11. Should it be moved to next week (and still fall within GW11) by all means predict the score, but it won’t be counted towards this week’s totals. On to the Winners. Top-spot this week is IzzatAziz with a very impressive 16pt...[Read More]
